4th Gen HeartGold/SoulSilver Speculation

Yeah I think it has been stated. How else would that Pichu be following you without the starter?

Perhaps your starter is only out at certain points? That Pichu event will probably be a movie activated event, which would mean it'd be later in the game. Maybe the starter already evolved and the evolutions don't follow you?

Just a guess.
 
Well yeah, we would just have to see what happens. I would like to see how Goldenrod City looks as well.
 
Or Perhaps you find a Pichu and have to reunite him with his friend, thus having to put your starter away for him to follow you?

Either way, I'd rather not have any Pokémon you want following you, that'd get a little out of hand.

Well they could make certain pokemon be able to follow you. Kind of like Amity Square in DPPT. I would like certain pokemon be able to follow you because it would be kind of weird if you make a Ho-oh follow you or something like that.

Is the bike even confirmed yet?

I wouldn't mind a skateboard replacing a bike though, they have had the bike in every generation. Though since the skateboard is not going to be in HGSS I don't really mind that.
 
ò_ó, I always am slow with news. Except for Bob's Game news. Plus, what if HGSS had the option to travel to Sinnoh or Hoenn? Or the Sevii Isles, at least.
 
I don't think HGSS will be able to travel the other regions. I sure hope not at least. I would like for it to have the Kanto region in it but not the others because that would just be too much in the game. That is only my opinion though.
 
If the Johto had the option to travel back to the Sinnoh, that would be rediculous because we already have Diamond, Pearl, and now Platinum. Hoenn is another story for me though, because it is a favorite region of mines.

Anyway, yeah I think it'll be better to reduce the certain Pokémon that can follow you. I mean Tentacool having to be right next to you squirming around would be kind of weird.
 
Sort of pertaining to the topic - have you ever wondered how water Pokémon battle in Gyms or on Land?

I was just wondering. In Gold and Silver we never got to water any "berries" (not Sudowoodo, just berries) did we? I wonder if we will be able to now. I wouldn't mind if it is the same way, but if we do get to water the berries now that would be pretty cool. Although we use to just pluck them right off everyday, it would be cool if we could water them so they could grow more than one.
 
To answer your question Bliss, we need to know if they will be putting in berries first to know if we can water them.

Thanks for the correction. I think I'll reword it to the apricorns then. I was kind of down when you could only get one on one tree, even though everyday there was a new one. If the watering pail could bring more than one that would be pretty cool.
 
I'm sure the game will have a lot of uses for the items, such as berries and such. More than it did before that is.

Those are neat ideas, but they probably won't be used in this game, not until at least future games are made.
