4th Gen HeartGold/SoulSilver Speculation

I really wish the pokegear wasn't pink... they should make it gold and silver like I THINK the originals were. (At least that's what I read, not sure.) A silver Pokegear... Awesome! Like Heart's hat lol.
The original was silver. More gray to me.

Those are neat ideas, but they probably won't be used in this game, not until at least future games are made.
… 5th Generation, possibly?

Well, the color of the Pokégear responds to the gender of whom the player is picking.

I wish they would let us pick the color of our Pokégears. That would've been sweet.

yeah, but I usually play as a girl. When I heard about the colorchanger app on DPP poketch I was all happy... UNTIL I discovered it only changed the screen color and not the ANNOYING pink poketch color O.o I really wish we could choose the color. I would make a black or silver one ^^. But seriously, the idea of a obnoxious bright pink thing on the bottom screen alone is almost enough to make me choose the boy character to play as. T.T

If they add in clothes-changing options, don't add a (None) option, please... we have Lopunny.

I don't want to see Dive in, even if they made Lugia catchable at the bottom of the sea. SO many people are asking for so many changes, and my bottom line is: Don't **** with the game so much. Leave it identical, and add new things. Don't replace.

If I recall correctly, they removed the ability to cut grass from DPPt. They definitely need to bring that back, I loved that, it was like the whole region was my lawn. Ahaha

I think this was removed because of a technical restriction. The ground, including grass, is made of large polygons with repeating textures, so being able to arbitrarily remove grassy patches could actually increase the polycount and cause the game to lag.

So unless they seriously overhaul the graphics engine, this won't happen.

Hopefully if the GenV games are on a more powerful system, we'll see this feature return.

Do you think the time machine will be utalized? I mean if you think about it, If DPP take place at the same time as FR and LG as well as RSE, then if they didn't use the time machine to communicate with DPP, the series' timeline would be out of whack.

In D/P/P, they never actually *explain* ingame how these Pokémon are finding their way to the Pal Park.

Maybe their trainer abandoned them three years ago and they've been wandering around ever since.

There's something a little weird to me...
Why does Nintendo hasn't shown the Day Night System?
Screenies or something? :O
They must include it. xD

Hmm, that's a bit fishy, but I guess it's old news by now, being in Diamond/Pearl, so there's no reason to advertise.

It would be a major upheaval in the franchise if it's not included, and I trust it will be.

Doubt tey would have done away with it - don't see why suddeny they wouldn't use the DS's clock and all, nor not use the Day-Night feature seeing as GSC were the first games to make use of it. I suppose it's just that all the pictures and videos were taken during the daytime - and that it's now not that new a feature, given D/P/Pt has it.

Plus maybe daytime works better for recording stuff on camera? =/ But I wouldn't worry about it.
