i no i was just stating and you could trade back and forth from r/b/y to g/s/c and the other way around if the pokemon didnt have new moves and wasnt from gen 2
Pravda. I don't see how is that related to your post about a shiny ditto. Also, I was stating that hacking HGSS will be easier due to it's engine similarity to DPPt. If you ever ROM hacked, then you might understand what I am saying.
Yay for engrish-like translations. XD Ah, google translate...
I would really doubt a new type in HG/SS - in fact we can basically discount it. For instance they would possibly have to rework the IVS (given that stuff like Hidden Power and all works on IVs and the types) - that will involve change the mechanics, and all. Main reason I believe that GSC couldn't trade with any 3rd gen games was because the whole IV system and all was different. In GSC though the new types didn't cause a new IV system, but then they went and changed it and all.
(Not to mention that a new type could possibly throw everything out of whack type-wise - and Steel/Dark were made partly to balance out things in the 1st gen *coughPsychictypescough* and all).
Yes a new type of pokemon would just add compatibility problems. If there had to be any new types, I would have to say leave it for another generation to come.
Well even if they are there before you get the National Dex, that sill wouldn't be a good argument, I mean, Eevee is part of the Johto Dex, hense Umbreon and Espeon. Mabey they'll create a hold item from Ice Rock and Moss Rock that you use to evolve Eevee into Glaceon and Leafeon, makes sence to me.
I would love it if they added two new sisters, and we couldn't battle them until after obtaining the Nat. Dex. They can also have Bill inform us of them simply because his favorite Pokémon is Eevee. It'll be a nice twist if done so.
