HeartGold/SoulSilver - Travel Journal

Made my way to Goldenrod, about to challenge Whitney.

Hope I win, since I've been training my Geodude for a while now (LV. 19 now)

Gastly's no good here.
Quilava's Ok, probably wont last long with Miltank.
Flaaffy's Ok, too, but still, probably can't beat Miltank.
Rattata's too weak to survive more than 2 hits.
Hoothoot might last longer with Hypnosis, but has no good damage moves.

I'm hoping for a CH or two. :)
 
Defeated Janine earlier but couldn't post it on here as I kept getting a database error so I wrote down my team after I defeated Janine, i'm going to fly to Vermillion City and catch the Snorlax

Update: caught the Snorlax after using 5 ultra balls, going to head to Pewter City and battle Brock

I really need a good place to train, Mt.Silver is great, but not cutting it anymore, plus I cna't take on Lances lv 75 dragonite with my current team. Which, by the way, is:

Dragonite lv 56
Gyarados lv 58
Rhydon lv 57
Heracross lv 58
Ampharos lv 59
Typhlosion lv 63

Pretty well balanced, both type and level wise, if I do say so myself.
 
Just beat Whitney and caught Sudowoodu.

Your Gyarados kinda sucks, no offense. Gyarados is meant to be a Physical attacker, so use moves such as Waterfall, Ice Fang and Aqua Tail to get the best out if it.

Anyway for me, yeaterday I ended up getting 4 badges, and got a Flareon to add to the team. I'm about to take on Clair.

I spent two hours trying to just get a good nature/gender and IVs all a the same time
I would die if I tried all that and wanted it shiny too

Okay, I just beat Pryce... in my HG version. :)

Way easier than Jamine, actually, this is harder as the only decent pokemon I had was a level 45 Typhlosions and the other Pokemon are like level 25. :O And Pryce, I think, has Water and Ground moves.
 
Defeated Blaine, Pokecommunity was offline when I defeated him so I added my team to notepad to post when the website is working again, going to Cinnibar now to talk to Blue and then onto Viridian City

Alright, I'm in Olivine, ready to set out to Cianwood and my team is as follows:

LV 27 Quilava (Explotaro)
LV 24 Aipom (Ataro)
LV 23 Togepi (Totaro)
LV 21 Miltank (Mil-chan)
LV 20 Sudowoodo (Su-chan)

I need to evolve Togepi into Togetic and level Miltank some more. She's a MASSIVE tank. xD
 
Got all the way to Kanto!!

....but still haven't beat Jasmine.

I'm looking now, but I couldn't find secret potion, so I Surfed over to Kanto, explored Union Cave and Dark Cave, lost in Pokethlon , captured Red Gyarados...


actually, that was epic. I taught my PCPichu Thunder, just because of the rain. Used it, 1 hit got it down to 1 hp!It KO'd with Bite, I sent out Politaro, and then caught it in a Great Ball.

So far I've had around 5 battles with Raikou, and even my Fast Ball (used when leading with Shuckle) doesn't work.Guess i'll have to actually fight it....

I also dropped off Shokotan Pichu in the PC, as it still hasn't evolved at lv.38 (no Everstone).

Yeah, so I beat Pryce, after me and Lance did the coolest teamwork ever!

Lol, Explotaro evolved in the Rocket Hideout, so I used Lava Plume whilst Dragonite was airborn, then Quick Attack to finish off the weakened pokemon (I KO'd Grunt's pokes, but left Exec's on around 3 hp).

New Objectives for me now:

-Get King's Rock and evolve Politaro
-Get SecretPotion and battle Jasmine!

Current team:

-Explotaro(Typhlosion)
-Dialga
-Pidge (Pidgeotto)
-Politaro (Poliwhirl)
-Lies (Red Gyarados, named seeing as I own a one called Truth,HM Slave)
-Sprout (Bellsprout, uses Cut and Flash)
 
Lost to the elite 4 (second round), Lance's Salamence wiped out nearly all of my pokemon in one hit, Lugia was the only one who survived 2 attacks, i'm going to train at Mt.Silver until my pokemon are about level 62 then i'll try again

Update: I realised I missed some trainers in Kanto, and the rival battle at Mt.Moon, i'm heading there and I am also obtaining all of the gym leaders phone numbers by changing the clock to make it the right time

Found how to get to Jasmine.Lol, seems stupid actually.

Then, I traded Pidge over to my brother, who's using Platinum.
Then I went around terrorising people as part of Team Rocket until Silver showed up. But, I got him back for that, so who cares reallly?

Now venturing up Radio Tower (After meeting the Director and somehow ending up in the Department Store)

grinding, grinding, grinding, capture Mewtwo, grinding again
team : Meganium, Arcanine, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Gyarados, Ampharos....all of 'em are lvl 56

save file 2 :
beat Pryce, Popo evolved into Typhlosion, gotta do the radio tower quest
team : Typhlosion(Popo), Ampharos(Jojo), Espeon(Ruru), Heracross(Mimi), Gyarados(Zuzu)....all of 'em except Popo are lvl 34

its fun when you use two save file at the same time (especially if you bored in one file, you can rely in another one) :D
and i love Ampharos too much so i always fit 'em in my team <3

Just yesterday I was able to beat Blue for my 16th badge, and climb to the top of Mt.Silver to find Red! Of course I didn't challenge him. So I went back down, explored the inside, and found moltres! I saved as I found it, and will try repeatedly to catch it.
