    Hello everyone, ElGamer here!


    First of all I must confess that I just found this site today, and instantly knew I had to join. I almost feel a little ashamed for not knowing about this site before now. Especially considering that I have played Pokémon for this last 15 years. But enough about that, time to tell a little about my self.


    I am 19 years old and I am from Norway. Pokémon has been a big part of my gaming life for the past 15 years, and it most probably will be in the future too. My first Pokémon game, was Pokémon Gold, and for me it is and most probably will be the greatest Pokémon game ever made (didn't like the remake so much). But at the moment it is Pokémon X/Y who is the real deal, at least until Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.


    That's a little about me, and some about my Pokémon experience. Anyway, I am looking forward to spend time here, and hopefully find lots of people willing to battle, trade and help me become a better Pokémon trainer than I am now.

     
    Hey ElGamer, welcome to PokeCommunity! I myself joined the second day I was on the site. I've been playing Pokemon since 2012, but I still have experience. I agree that Pokemon Gold is a great game, even though I don't own it. We also have a whole section for the Hoenn remakes, it's right under The Welcome Lounge. Hope to see you around!
     
    I think you made the right decision to join, since you are a Pokemon fan and PC is a Pokemon forum. Anyways, welcome aboard ElGamer! I don't think you're the first Norwegian member I've run into, but we have members from all over the world which is what makes everyone here so diverse.

    Ah Pokemon Gold! I sadly never played the original Johto games, yet I did play HeartGold & SoulSilver, the remakes of that generation so yeah close enough. I wonder if you're excited about the upcoming Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire by the way? I know these remakes of Hoenn are incredibly hyped given how much the 3rd Generation impacted on a lot of Pokemon fans. User 101 has recommended a few spots you can pop by, but I'm sure you'll love hanging out around the Pokemon gaming boards which have every generation covered.

    Hey! Welcome to the site!

    I've had this account since 2012 and I've only just decided to start being more of an active member. So yeah, I'm kind of new here too! Well, new to posting, anyway. Maybe we'll see each other around the forum?

    I hope you have a good time here. Normally I'd offer my assistance if you need help navigating around the site and to PM me if you have any questions you think I'd be able to help with (even though I'm not a Mod or anything, just in case), but I'm just about as inexperienced at this forum as you. So. There we go.

    Must really say that I apriciate the welcoming you people have given me. Makes me feel right at home at once.


    User 101: Gonna check out the Hoen remake section, as it is one of the games I anticipates the most this winter.


    Hikamaru: One Norwegian have to be the first. And I have noticed the diversity of nations people come from. Makes it even more interesting to be here. The remake of Gold/Silver is good, but then again, they aren't even close to the original. But that might be the nostalgia which is talking. And as I said to User 101 just above this answer, it's one of the games I anticipate the most. Almost acted like a One Direction/Justin Bieber fangirl, when I heard about the remake. Just to put it in perspective.


    And I will stick around, maybe not so much in the beginning, since I like to observe forums and communities before I join in on the fun, and because if have a tight schedule the next couple of weeks. But I will stick around.


    Consulting Detective: It's good to see that I am not the only one with little experience from here. Makes me feel a little less lost than I might be... And I think I will have a good time around here.
     
    Welcome to the forums for sure u must check out Ora's section for cool discussions about the upcoming games also there are various sections for people helping critique teams and theres battling and trading forums and if u ever have any questions or would like to trade feel free to pm me! :)

    Lots of our members have been into Pokemon for a long time.. I got into it 15 years ago too so we're quite similar. Started with Blue way back in the day and got Red later that Christmas. Been an uphill journey ever since. OR/AS are going to be absolutely magnificent and that's been exciting quite a lot of us. Move faster, time! Agh!

    How've you been faring so far? If you need help you can ask one of the staff but the members are just as eager to get to know you. Have a good one!

    Sheep: You're right there, at least I found it. And I must thank for the welcoming, always nice so se a Moderator welcoming new guys.


    Never owned Blue or Red myself, but my uncle owned both, so I borrowed from him. And I agree the journey from Blue/Red and now to OR/AS have been an uphill journey. When it comes to OR/AS time can't move fast enough, I WANT THEM BOTH NOW!!!


    I like what I have seen so far. Not that I have written too much, but what I have seen is overall positive. Looking forward to become more active. Shall remember that, and I am pretty sure my time here will be good!

    15 years is quite a feat! Glad that you've been a fan for so long! You'll get along juuust fine with us; and yes, we're always excited for the new pokemon games too! I pre-ordered magma ruby myself but, maybe I'll get alpha sapphire soon too!

    But yes, it's really great to meet you, and yup, you'll find loads of people to trade and battle with upon their respective boards indeed! And I hope to see you soon. :3

    Dragon: Once I started I never quit, except for some pauses from time to time. But that was needed to keep the excitement there. Have already ordered Omega Ruby myself, and Alpha Sapphire will follow.


    It's great to meet you too! And really looking forward to meet a lot of other people inn here too. :3

    Hey ElGamer, I've been a fan of pokemon for 14 years and I started with the trading cards then moved onto the games and my first game was Yellow and I loved the game overall.

    Welcome to PC from a relatively new member! :)
