    my username is -riolu-, but around the internet, i am commonly known as kay or kaylee.
    i've loved pokemon for practically my whole life.
    besides messing around with my pokemon cards and figures, collecting pokemon plushies and playing pokemon games--
    i love video games in general and am very open about talking about them!
    i have an easygoing personality, and i am the lonely type, so to say.
    as you all may have already guessed, i also love anime, but i don't watch them very often.
    i have a younger sister who i'm trying to get into the pokemon fandom.
    music wise, i am a fan of any and all types of rock and metal. if there's a band/singer you would like to recommend for me, go right ahead!
    my favourite bands are panic! at the disco, get scared, digital daggers, my chemical romance, hollywood undead, and quite a few more i can't think of off the top my head right now!
    my all time favourite singer is joel faviere, the ex-singer of get scared.

    a weird fact about me is that although i'm from america, i tend to use the "british" spellings for certain words.
    hope we can all get along, and maybe be friends! ^ ^

    i enjoy mostly fighting games like super smash brothers.
    adventure games like ratchet and clank and diablo III are really fun in my opinion too.
    i don't really like strategy games, but portal 1 and 2 are exceptions. would five nights at freddy's count as a strategy game?
    really the only detective game i have a physical copy of is super danganronpa 2: goodbye despair. i honestly love komaeda.
    i'm not really fond of tycoon games, they get boring after a while.

    Nice taste in video games you have there based on what you said earlier, Ratchet & Clank was one of my childhood games funnily enough, but I recall when I first struggled with the first game of the original trilogy. At least I did finish the other two in said trilogy, but Pokemon will always be where my gaming heart is these days. As for your musical taste, I've never really heard of those bands other than My Chemical Romance and Panic! At The Disco, but then again I'm not too fond of metal myself (probably because I think it's nothing but screaming). However, do check out the Video Games board, which Dragon also mods alongside here. There's lots of awesome gaming topics over there and you'll notice just how popular it is given PC has a lot of gamers hanging around.

    Ah gosh so you're a pretty big Pokemon fan, that's awesome. I've a lot of merch myself, from cards to stuffed toys and keychains among other things. Seems like we're going to get along well so feel free to message me if you'd like and we can chat. No good being lonely on a forum of this scale, right? Plenty of wonderful people everywhere that you can get to know.

    But wahey anime fans. 8] Do you have a favorite series? I didn't watch them often either until recently, some of the newer series have been really awesome. Especially Durarara!! x2 eee. Anyways, have an amazing time here and hope we'll see you around often!

    and i used to have keychains, i mean, i still have one, it's chimchar, but i think i broke off the chain when i was younger.. oops..

    and i do! right now it's hunter x hunter, the 2011 version. when i first started watching anime, my all time favourite was sword art online, but when i started watching more anime, i found out that there's anime better than that!

    That's pretty nifty that you use British spellings hehe, I am from Canada so I do the same - but almost all of us do! Sounds like you and I have a few things in common (besides a love of Pokemon) I really enjoy anime. I can be picky at times but overall I consider myself a big anime fan. I also like to buy Pokemon plushies although I kind of just started buying them hehe. There are some really fantastic fan made ones too, don't know if you've ever looked around online for them but they're out there!

    You said you're the "lonely type" so if you're ever feeling particularly lonely (or just a bit bored) feel free to leave me a VM or PM. I love to chat with people - we can swap anime recommendations and such. ^_^

    And to be honest, I do listen to Linkin Park! They're one of my favourite bands. I typed this at night so I wasn't thinking very clearly. And even with my first week, I'm enjoying this forum a lot.

    Hi Saki! I'm pretty picky about anime too. If it doesn't have any sort of action, magic, or anything funny, I'm more than likely not watching it.
    That's actually why I consider Hunter x Hunter to be my all time favourite anime, it reaches my requirements perfectly, plus the characters are adorable.
    Action-- the fight scenes. Magic-- the Nen. Funny-- Lots of the parts are funny in my opinion!
