Hey, You, Pikachu!

This was a spinoff that made use of a Nintendo 64 microphone and had you giving the Pikachu voice commands through said peripheral. I hear it's harder for adults to play the game, and that the microphone controls weren't very good.

Did you ever play Hey, You, Pikachu? What was your opinion on it?

A very long time ago, I did. The difficulties, imo, of the microphone really come into play at the event where you need to instruct a blind-folded Pikachu to hit a pinata. I couldn't get past that event. Not much to say about the game, otherwise. Those that didn't play it did not miss out on much. From my understanding, Pokemon Channel was a sequel to it, though.

I rented this game from Blockbuster a long, long time ago and I enjoyed that game. It was so cute and some of the events I was never able to get past.

ahhh yes yes yes!! This was one of my favorite spinoff games ever, and I was absolutely addicted when I was younger. Taking care of Pikachu in a more immersive and realistic (3D) setting was just so exciting at the time. Man though, was the voice recognition awful though lol. I remember spending eternity at the treasure island speaking angrily but carefully into my mic to get Pikachu to understand my commands so I could open those chests...........
