This is indeed one of the best places to talk to other Pokémon fans. I've been a fan since gen 1 as well.
I see from your profile that you like art and writing stories, and we have subforums for both of those! Check out Art & Design and Fan Fiction and Writing. I like writing stories too but I've been to self-conscious to post anything there.

Ah, well, great that you're having a good impression of us so far! I've been a fan since Gen 1 myself, with my first game being pokemon Yellow, and it was pretty tough, but, I do like the challenge! I hope that they'll continue throwing multiple challenges here and there! We're all fans here, so, feel free to jump right in, and we'll be happy to befriend you! Hey RedxZero193, welcome to PC! I've been playing since Gen. 1 too but that was Pokemon Stadium back on the Nintendo 64. The big main series game that I played first was Pokemon Gold and that was my favorite, and a big reason was because you were able to explore the Kanto region as well.
