HICKS ONLY

what are some countryside tales you have for them city slickers around these parts

I lived in the country. Until you've had to live with well water (we'd call it "country water"), you'll never know the struggle.

the struggle of being near... nothing. there was a time i had to drive 30 minutes to an hour to the nearest convenience store that was open 24 hours. real struggle if you desperately need something you don't have and it's the middle of the night. also real struggle when there's only one kind of grocery store. food deserts aren't fun.

i also like telling stories about my cousin and his guns and people hounding me with questions on why he owned so many and what could he POSSIBLY need them for and uh. he had a fuck ton of wild hogs on his territory. you don't mess with hogs.

You have to be careful driving around late at night because there's been times where people will pretend to have a broken down car and then jump you when you pull over to help them.

Hi verified white trash here, complete with country accent. I lived in a small town with literally nothing and we had to walk around Walmart for fun. In highschool we would routinely have tailgate parties in barns and cornfields. We also have this fair every year where you chuck cow crap and whoever can throw the cow crap the farthest wins a $100 prize. Also, this video took place in my hometown.
