The villagers stood around the room, eyeing Oishi with disgust as the old man screamed at them from his place by the door.
"SHE WAS INNOCENT AND ONE OF YOU KILLED HER FOR CRIMES SHE DIDN'T COMIT!" he yelled "I DON'T KNOW WHO DID IT, BUT YOU'RE AS BAD AS THESE UNDERGROUND BASTARDS PRETENDING TO BE YOUR GOD!" Oishi punched out the nearest man and walked out the door, unaware of the young man watching from the shadows, scratching at his skin as he spied on the village.
"It is most disturbing" Oryo said to the group after the policeman's departure "if what that interfering annoyance says is indeed true. We must try harder to find whoever is responsible for slandering the name of Oyashiro-sama and bring them to justice."
Several moments later, Oishi found himself sitting across from Mion of the Sonozaki family of all people at a nearby café, his head in his hands.
"It's almost time to retire" he said looking up with a sigh "My time is nearly up and nobody will listen to me. Perhaps I should leave it to your generation."
"Maybe you should, either way time is nearly up."
Twiggy is dead. They were sided with the Village.
