His Return [House Points awarded!]

Klippy shut off ur mod mode u dirty slut

And anyways, I do think the point against you is something worth noting.

I cannot tho.

And if you mean me, yeah, I backed the wrong horse. I was going by lore though. It gave me a harsh reality that the game won't follow lore to a clear point. Sucks but I'm happy to just keep providing some book knowledge. I'm like the librarian of the game, haha.

Calm yourselves people (mod mode).

First of all: I defended Alex because Sun was a suspicious sociopath. He was threatening to kill multiple people and was extremely aggressive. Alex also had the better story lore-wise. But now we know lore isn't 100% key anymore. That's gonna be an issue for everyone because things can get way more crazy. Secondly: I switched after Sun called off his House and trusted that the rest of you would defend me or kill him for being such a suspicious and anti-town player were I to be dead this morning.

I'm glad he's gone because he was dangerous af to all of us. His House did us a favor. I regret that we lost another Head though but the player controlling that Head was not utilizing it in a way we could rely on long-term.

I'm not home but I have some lore to disclose I believe and I think it's still very valuable info to IDing roles and general info. Probably just not as accurate for IDing truth.

I'm gunna call you out on this bolded line. On day 1 (or was it day 2?) you claimed that the Sword of Gryffindor could not be summoned using Accio. Yet Wicked managed to do so. Based off this, we already knew that this game wasn't going to follow the lore. As handy as it is having someone to reference the canon material - it's worse off if they're mafia. At the moment, I am leaning towards you and Arc as the most suspicious at the moment.

Also can I just ask, has any game in the UG ever followed the original lore perfectly before? I think that mindset was wrong from the start - it would be way too hard too pull it off 100% perfect.

If you think about it, following lore 100% would be impossible anyway. Because of character deaths. Neville's dead, and we all know that didn't happen.

Bard, you're smarter than this

I've noticed something of a trend in who's defending who in this game

The sword can be accio'd. I tried the same night as wicked. I got it, but it instantly flew away from me because someone else called for it.

Okay, well then, first off, atleast the Slytherins are active, albeit a bit stupid for targeting each other. Personally, I found Sun to be more of a liability than an asset to be honest, considering the Dark Lord himself visited Sun, that should mean something, right?

I was kinda thinking that for a while too - that Klippy has been strangely obsessed with the lore when he knows better than anyone that lore doesn't matter much in mafia, having GMed so many games that stray from canon. Not sure if he's just super enthusiastic about Harry Potter or trying to distract us from analyzing the game and players as we should in mafia. :P

Snape was a double agent. Thing is, he always leaned towards Dumbledore, you never know until the end. Since this isn't canon, maybe Snape was actually trying to side with Voldemort and drag Slytherin there as well, we're never going to know his real intention.

I don't think so, as a house head, it would leave the game terribly unbalanced if he were to side with the mafia at the end.

I'm like the biggest Harry Potter enthusiast... :( I read the books a lot and I've been super excited about this. I always get confused in the anime mafias because I am not an anime follower so this was my one chance to feel relevant and I've been excited comparing the books to the mafia.

Lore =/= Plot btw. Neville dying doesn't mean you throw the lore out. The lore is the background and foundation of something. Neville dying is non-canonical but it doesn't conflict with lore. Just FYI.

Personally, I'm not a Potter fan so I don't really know much about the lore, but it seems that Mana did put in a lot of effort to fit in the lore as much as he could. It wouldnt hurt to actually know what the lore entails imo

Hmm... thought about changing, but I don't feel like it. I feel like Sun's claim was too forced, as though he were trying to be subtle while blatantly implying his own identity. It feels off in hindsight.

uhh i'm more inclined to believe alex tbh so
[BANISH] Sun

I know I said this is a paper thin trail but I believe you were the only two to not change your votes so I'm kinda worried about that. Especially you Arx. Your reasoning for voting in the first place isn't exactly rock solid.

Wicked my man. When I was unable to talk last night, I was keeping a close eye on what was happening and Arx's vote was definitely the most suspicious to me. If no major info comes forth, I think Arx is a good place to start for lynching. Unless a bomb of an RR comes down with no CC.

Thanks for the backing, and I agree, since we have no RRs and no investigations coming forward, I think we go forward here.

Also, welcome back, sorry you had to endure a day of "death" (isn't there a better name we can come up with for ghosts being out of commission?).

My mistake, and I apologize for that, but you still have a lot of explaining to do considering your weak "nah I just don't trust Sun" argument. At least Bard had some solid ground to stand on.

well with how vehemently he cc-ed, it seemed suspicious to me so i didn't trust him that much (like klippy and some others i think)

Personally I think that Arx has much less against him than Klippy or even Bard.

And Gunner is still trying to justify against Sun, and thus back Klippy, so I think she's also worth checking out.

And just going by the most recent phase post, we know that Snape was not a double agent role. We also know that the Death Eaters no longer have a chat together, so that gives us an advantage.
Day Four Phase Post said:
Indeed they were acquaintances, yet the Potions professor had never truly supported The Dark Lord, and had no intention of doing so.
Day Four Phase Post said:
More spells erupted from Snape's wand as he escaped under cover, the meeting room of the Death Eaters being destroyed in the process.

So, personally, I'm just sticking with my instincts on this matter.

Banish Klippy

The rest of you can do what you want

That's also one of my scum reads.

So I'd like to check it out to confirm some things.
[kill] klippy

If he flips maf, then I'm pretty sure bard will too.
