Night Four

Battles with dangerous beasts broke out throughout the castle, with the students putting their lives on the line to protect those less able or willing.

Three brave students make their way to the Girls' Bathroom, a strange environment for two of the students. There, a fierce (but rather slow and stupid) Troll was found hunched over between two cubicles. The Troll was hardy, barely flinching at their individual spells but eventually succumbed to their group effort. Someone found an Opal Necklace behind a broken wall tile.

The Blast-Ended Skrewt was another fearsome foe. A large group of students went to contain this unnatural hybrid, with their numbers they quickly overpowered it enough for Hagrid to cage it. After a dangerous explosion, team stumbled off weary, but very much alive. Someone found a Foe-Glass beneath a shattered stone.

The Manticore was relentless in its attack, and with near impervious hide it was a tough opponent indeed. With their quick succession of combination attacks the brave trio took down the beast before their injuries amounted to much. Someone took the hide of the beast to fashion a Magic-resistant Vest.

Finally, the spider-spawn Acromantula. With three brave warriors and a Poltergeist, however, it was not much of a challenge to tame the beast. A well-timed jinx even stopped a deadly poison attack, leaving the arachnid to scuttle out of a nearby window and down into the forest in just a few minutes. Someone stashed some Acromantula Venom from a detached fang.

After the final beast was dealt with, the pupils reconvened. They had already made their decision, Klippy's story was not enough to save him.

Banished to the grounds, Klippy soon found himself on the run. The screams died off a few minutes later.

Klippy is dead. He was Yaxley

Day Five

The Death Eaters, still recovering from Severus Snape's assault, were disorganised and unfocused. Many tidbits of information flew around at night, the new items seeming to be the main object of affection.

After the previous night's success, this one was unusually quiet. A SONORUS disrupted the castle poltergeist and another ally, the Ravenclaw students casting their net wide again.

One Gryffindor student sat under an invisibility cloak, just as he had done for the previous night.

Melody has vanished. She was Vincent Crabbe

Melody has been removed as it is too late in the game to replace her during her absence :(.

I didn't know you got hit. I assumed that you have some degree of invulnerability on account of it being mentioned that you're hiding under an invisibility cloak in the phase post. As for your message, it's possible that the spell that hit you came from an ally. When I got Sectumsemprad, Expecto Patronum didn't protect me because even though it's dark magic it came from an ally.
