Night Five

Bardothren had been cornered, his plan taking some severe blows. He knew he could no longer operate in the castle, but perhaps his disciples could complete the task without him.

AVADA- he started to chant, aiming his wand at Dumbledore, but the students and remaining staff were quick to counter with an effective EXPELLIARMUS. Disarmed and about to be attacked, Bardothren flew through an open window and out of the castle. Students looked on as the powerful wizard slowly walked across the grounds. He did not fear the beasts that roamed there, the centaurs were too busy cowering to harm him.

Leaving the castle unharmed, Bardothren vowed to return with more of his Death Eaters and finish the job himself.

Bardothren was banished. He was Lord Voldemort

Three over bodies were dragged out that day, leaving them on the steps for the Centaurs to deal with. They were limp, speechless and inactive.

Gunner took the brunt of attacks during the night but managed to survive thanks to a protective suit of armor conjured by Neville Longbottom. The SECTUMSEMPRA spell aimed at her was taken by the suit instead, which had little impact at all.

A dangerous beast lurked in the corridors again. Picking his victim carefully, he lunged and slashed at his target. Come tomorrow night his pack would be even larger, they were becoming quite a threat.

The Ravenclaw students set up their protections again, but their information was limited. The Death Eaters weren't taking action against them, but their luck was likely to run out eventually.

I'll change my vote if there are any better leads. This is primarily a gut vote.

I have a feeling Greyback is one of the claimed hufflepuffs, since the numbers don't seem to work out.
 
I believe that they're acting a little too confused.
They just pop in, state that they're confused, ask random questions and then leave without really contributing anything.

But that may just be because they're new, but it may also be because they're mafia. Or maybe even both.
 
Fenrir Greyback is a Death Eater, but it's possible that his wolf pack is a splinter of some sort.

Do we have solid numbers on the Houses yet? I agree that it's likely one of the Hufflepuffs, but it's possible that it's not. My guess (obviously) would have to be on NightKrow or Juno, but I don't want to go hitting a doctor role on accident.

Also, I'd still like to point out that ALL of the dead students died due to inactivity. Lol
 
My guess is still six per house.

So there should be:
5 gryffindors
3 slytherins
4 ravenclaws
3 hufflepuffs

The claims so far (correct me if I'm wrong)
Gryffindor-me, wicked
Slytherin-Archy
ravenclaw-catmandatrainer, kaneki!!!
Hufflepuff-Naku, Moon, Nightkrow, Juno

Also, since it's day six; If the werewolf pack was able to recruit every night there should be fenrir + 5 recruits so six in total. But that's assuming they didn't get repelled by fianto duri or a patronus.

I've read through the thread, and I think the best candidates for fenrir are; Juno, Naku, and Moon.

Nightkrow was very earnest in the way that he asked why he couldn't find any other hufflepuffs, so I don't think he's fenrir, although he could have been converted at his point.

I urge the remaining slytherins to attack them, I know this means losing potential doctors, but two out of the four houses have ways to protect themselves. The werewolves, if my guess on their numbers are correct, are quickly becoming half of the game. We don't have time to be precise.
 
As a ghost, does that mean I am unable to be converted by Fenrir?

I think it's also possible Catman was converted as well. Catman came out on day 3 accusing alex of being maf. Iirc Catman would have been the first 'confirmed' Ravenclaw? Unless I'm missing something ._.

The suspicion on Anna I can see being a possibility as well. She constantly seems confused despite being a HP and having played a few mafia games by now. Compared to most games, this is pretty vanilla/tame in terms of complexity.

I... don't know. To be honest, Mana never gave me any notification that I received any vest so :x

hello yes pointing out that this is my first ever mafia that involves actual thinking and not trying to hear which person physically moves during night actions and also i am a person very particular about sticking to canon and MAFIA DOES NOT DO THAT

excuse me if i was told i needed to post/be active to stay in the game at all so like i asked questions so i could like. maybe end up being helpful ಠ_ಠ

Confirming that I can use Periculum tonight, and I will do so.

While I do agree that the numbers do seem off, what's also strange is that there is only one more Hufflepuff claim than there are Hufflepuffs (if there were 6 Hufflepuffs to begin with.) Periculum needs two Hufflepuffs to work, so if there were only three Hufflepuffs at this point, we would be able to call the liar out. As myself and Juno were able to confirm each other, and Naku and Moon were also able to confirm each other, it doesn't add up that one of us could be lying. Now that I think about it, it could be possible that one person in a pair is Greyback and the other is a recruited Hufflepuff, but that seems unlikely.

I wanna say some spells or items got redirected somewhere. In fact, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that Harry Potter rr'd yesterday and everyone rushed to attack Gunner instead. Wicked, do you have some sort of redirection spell or charm?

I'm just saying that you shouldn't have that armor.​

Leave the poor girl alone. It is her first mafia game. You can't just start kicking everyone out because they don't totally understand the game.
