4th Gen Honestly, whoever thought of events should be fired

That was what I meant, DraconicDino.

If it was a HMV exclusive event, then unfotunately that would be tough luck. Though I managed to get an Enigma Stone through Mystery Gift via Wi-Fi, so some will be available through Wi-Fi. Just not store exclusive ones.
 
i also got the enigm stone, through wifi
i didnt drive into town, i didnt go to toys r us and i didnt fly to jpan!
i sat at home, downloaded the event turned my ds off and played some football
just make pokemo events wifi only
 
I don't think events are stupid or anything. They are just things to enhance a gamers experience and get more people to buy a game. It is your fault for not getting the game in time, not theirs for constantly offering the event. You are basically saying "I just got my Sapphire, why wont they give me my event Shiny Zigzagoon?! Those stupid people!"
 
Imagine if we didn't have Wi-Fi, we'd have to wait around waving those cables at people as a sign to trade, lol.

I remember when I was younger, me on one side of the pavement , my friend on the other trading. For oncoming pedestrians, it must've been like a sinister tripwire plot.
 
That's just the thing though, I don't have wifi. How do obtain these event pokemon even if I was in time for the events? ._.
 
The one thing that really annoys me about events is when they never actually do them. They never gave us the Azure flute, for example.

Seriously, if you're going to program an event like the Hall of Origin or that island that had Mew on it in Emerald, actually use the damn code you spent time on programming instead of disappointing the majority of your fans.
 
Admittedly, that is irritating. But at least most go out over wi-fi now...and the ones that don't....2 words:

- AR/Glitch
- Trade
 
Uhh...you couldn't even when they had that slogan?

Well, not without hacking - Mew and Celebi are alike in more than just BST...they also can't be obtained legitimately in Gen I & II games.....
 
I USED to hate events with a passion. Seriously, waiting in line for two hours to get a Mew is NOT fun.

Now that you can do it via Mystery Gift... I like it, even if I have to drive an hour and a half to do the event. :p

They should make it a bit easier for people without those sorts of places close to them though, I agree.
 
i agree. they always make it where lots of people can't go. sometimes its in huge cities with long lines.

all im saying is, it's impossible for some people to get them, even with wi-fi.
my router doesn't use the same type that wifi needs, and if i do change it, the internet doesn't work. so i can't trade, or do battles or anything like that.

i don't cheat either, so i won't use cheats or glitches to get the event pokemon.
 
its dumb i stopped playing for like a month and i miss like everything! its lame they should at least do some other events =(
 
I wish events were more known about when I first got my games. I didn't even know what events were until I bought HG. They never left it in the manual that events were available or anything so until March I hadn't known about them :/

Well all events for the Dppt series is over now and they won't be doing new ones since Hg/SS came out and Black and white on the way soon.
