6th Gen Hoopa Unbound (btw this will probably get kinda spoliery)

So I'm sure by now that most of you are aware of this little thing:

Hoopa, one of the special event-only legendaries (like Darkrai or Meloetta) of Kalos. It was originally discovered in X/Y's coding months ago along with Diancie and Volcanion, among other things, but has yet to be officially revealed and distributed by Game Freak.

You probably also know about how during the time that the ORAS demo was out, something that was originally thought to be a Hoopa Mega Evolution was found in the coding of the demo. However, when hackers tried to produce an image of it, all we got was a jumbled mess of an image.

It was later discovered when hacking the code of the full games that it wasn't a Mega Evolution, but a new form for Hoopa instead, called Hoopa-Unbound, which looks like this:

Apparently an item called the "Prison Bottle" is what releases the seal on Hoopa's powers.

So the question is, what's the story/lore behind Hoopa-Unbound?
Since Diancie has been officially revealed and distributed, when are we getting Hoopa and the Prison Bottle?
Since Diancie got a mega evolution and Hoopa an alternate form, will Volcanion get something special too?

That's actually really cool. I thought Hoopa looked dumb but that's a nice new look.

Next year a movie is planning to be released with Primal Kyogre, Primal Groundon, and Shiny Mega Rayquaza. Also, their's a trailer of it showing all of them being sucked into a giant hoop, as well as the poster showing them around the giant hoop. In other words, Hoopa will almost be 100% guaranteed to be in this movie, and most likely an event to come for him by then. I find it utterly ridiculous that we couldn't catch him in ORAS, since he was responsible for Mirage Spots, but at least he'll come soon.
Volcanion will probably have a water and fire form.

That's exciting and sad as well, people just HACK nowadays to find what's the surprise, it would have been much awesomer if it STAYED a surprise. :/

 

[Hiatus]

This is something we'll likely see to be revealed in their third installment or sequel. Since they'll be connected to these games (mechanically), data's there so that Prison Bottle item could be transferred, allowing us to unlock Hoopa's alternate form in X and Y. At least this is what I believe. As for Volcanion also getting another form, it's certainly possible! I'm sure many of us feel that they make up a trio of sorts, so it'd likely seem sort of unbalanced in our eyes if two had special forms added, and one didn't. I wonder how they would be battling-wise? Hopefully, not too overpowering; otherwise, we probably will not have much chance of using them competitively and whatnot, which would kind of suck.

I blame Mew. Back in the day everyone wanted a Mew, but no one knew how to get one. I think all the glitching endeavors started with just trying to get a Mew or Celebi. People wised up and figured if it existed, it had to be in the cartridge somewhere.

I have a powersave and I used it to get Hoopa, and you get the Prison Bottle from an employee in any Pokemart (while Hoopa is in your party).

The Pokemart guy says he was duped by an old guy who traded the seemingly useless item to him for Pokemart Items.
And that the old guy kept talking about how it's supposed make Hoopa "Unbound" for 3 days. I don't know what the 3 days thing is.

Sorry for posting again, but I found this while I was looking for Hoopa's backstory. Apparently this is a conversation with an NPC in XY if you have Hoopa in you party.

I've also managed to come across some information about the mysterious power that Hoopa appears to wield. So, without further ado, I'd like to share my findings with you! After all, you're actually traveling with Hoopa–the very subject of my research!"

Its mysterious rings: "It's said that Hoopa can use the power of the three rings it adorns itself with to move objects about as it pleases… That's not all! The secret of its lair: "It's said that Hoopa's lair is overflowing with the objects and treasures it nabbed over the years, claiming them for its own. Rumor has it that there are mountains of gold and silver treasures that it took from ancient kings and wealthy land barons. I hear that Hoopa's lair is in an oasis in the desert, but no one's been able to find the place!"

Its deeds and exploits: "There's a tale about an organization that tried to manipulate Hoopa's power for their own benefit. After a while, certain objects that belonged to the organization mysteriously began to disappear. Everything from weapons and vehicles to money… It all began to vanish one by one. The organization got scared and decided to hole up inside of their headquarters. Once they did, things stopped disappearing! Just like that! Relieved that it was finally over, the organization finally decided to step outside. It was then that they discovered their headquarters had been transported wholesale to somewhere in the middle of a desert! Terrified of what they had unleashed, the organization promptly disbanded."

"Whether Hoopa becomes a trustworthy partner or ends up bringing about great misfortune depends entirely on the Trainer. I hope you don't forget that. I think Hoopa'll turn out right as rain with you at its side, though! You look like a Trainer who knows how to take care of his Pokémon and treat 'em right. Well, I hope you end up having lots of fine adventures with Hoopa! Have fun!"

I read this awhile ago in a japanese site (in english of course). I wonder if that spot it keeps it's stuff is going to appear next Generation, as I wouldn't mind seeing it.

Hoopa is really creepy. I want to know who imprisoned it. I hope the next games expand on this.

As for Volcanion I think it may get a Primal as thus far the three major form changes have been 'Formes', 'Mega', and 'Primal'. Since Hoopa has the first and Diancie the second then the third member of this so called trio should likely get a Primal. Also Volcanion's body gives me the image of something drawing power from the earth (water and heat to create steam), and if you played OrAs the natural power emerged from the earth when wacked by a giant meteor. I have a feeling Volcanion will battle off with Zygarde in the 2016 movie.
