How long will the GT last?

If we stick to the schedule, the GT should be opened to the public on 23. or 24. 7. 2020. But when will it end? Usually, the GT run for 14 days, but I don't have any problem with it running for longer than that, because of the situation in a real world.

So... the question is pretty easy: How long will this GT be?

i feel like in past GTs, every time we ended up running it longer than a week and a halfish, people tend to get burnt out. the biggest reason for this is that the get together period for a lot of events is where submissions take place for contests and judging doesn't happen until GT is over (or close to it), so the time in-between is spent kind of twiddling fingers and waiting for the results and whatnot. this could be because of the events taking place, or this could be the actual length of the gt or both, but i'm hesitant on gt lasting longer than week and a halfish again.

i'm fine with two weeks only if we can keep the userbase engaged in the meantime with events that will keep them busy.

I feel two weeks is the optimum amount of time. It's not so long that people will be running out of steam but it's not too short to actually do anything.

2 weeks with the option for events to wrap up early if they either don't need to be as long as that or if participation is low
