i have a job at kmart. i dont really like it but its a job and pays for stuff. i worked as a cashier then i got a promotion and i am now in training in the apparel department

I did have a job, but I quit to concentrate on my final year of University.
But I will apply for another job when I finish in a few months.

I'm in my second year of University, and I used to work at GAME and CEX over the Christmas period, and then quit both after coming into contact with a substantial amount of money. I'd like to think I've always been lucky with jobs, although they are very difficult to find, especially when you're appearance is somewhat 'eccentric' (piercings, hair, tattoo's.).

I don't have a job yet but I'm hopping to work at Gamestop when I turn 18 or maybe at Books and Millions(A book store)

I just graduated from college last spring, so I have a job to pay off my horrible student loans. I wish I could find something related to my degree, but to echo Elite Overlord LeSabre, finding a job is not easy! I'm grateful to have something though, because my loans are not gonna pay themselves. XD

Oh yes, and I work at a department store.

I work in Gamestop and it's the best. Everyday I have fun while working which many people don't do. Wish I had more hours though. Don't really do much during the day.

Am I the only one who's not enjoying his job? I work part time at a fast food restaurant. Since I don't have school, I work there almost everyday. I can tell you this: it's hectic, and every hour, throngs of people come at the same time, 80% of the customers are rude, and I work for 8 hours everyday.

I know I should be thankful to even have a job, but the pay is so little that it isn't worth it anymore. I really plan to quit in April.

I work in a tiny office at a school and all I do most days is push papers around and sometimes answer phones. Some days are super hectic though and I have to deal with a lot of people, many of whom are terribly rude, confused about the simplest things, or something else which makes it hard to deal with them. It's not usually very difficult, but it's not exactly enjoyable either. I'm very lukewarm about my job. The best thing about it is that it pays well for what it requires of me. That, and I get a computer to use.

I used to work as an office assistant at a middle school nearby my high school during my Senior Year. I regret leaving the workplace when I graduated. I would have continued throughout college but I was scared to deal with both college and work at the same time.

So, right now, I'm looking around. But in my area, since we're topping the nation's unemployment rate, I'd rather be looking for work outside my county.

I work in Hallensteins, a clothes store. It's awesome, because not only am I surrounded by clothes, I get 3 items that I want for free every month. The hours used to be bad though, because I had to work whenever someone couldn't make it, which was a lot. But now I only work on Saturdays and Sundays so I'm happy now. It pays reasonably well too, about $20 an hour.
    it's the best job eva

I don't work because I'm to young, but when I'm old enough I'll get one.

At the moment I work for my mom's smaller company but after this school year is finished I'm going to look for another job. I want to work at the "Strike" Bowling centre down the road from where I live but I also want to work at a place like EBgames or Gamesman (We don't have Gamestop where I live)

I work stockroom maintenance in a major department store. I'm also responsible for filling online orders and delivering them to customers assuming they opt to pick their stuff up in the store.

It's fun and all, but I barely get enough hours to cover my two biggest expenses (rent and tuition) that I have to be extremely stingy with my groceries and stuff. D:

Of course I have a job. In fact, it's become more of a mission in life. To annoy my parents to death. Well, maybe not to death. But yeah. You get the picture. =D

XD In all honesty, no, I don't. I've never even worked part time anywhere.

My parents own a running store so I work there maybe once a month xP One of my friends is going to start working there next month though so maybe I'll request more hours =D

I have been a picture framer for four years during the holiday season. And I had a volunteer job with a charity in summer 09 (I don't know if that counts though?). But right now, I don't have a job. I'm supposed to be looking but EFFORT.

I do have a job, and like Scarf, I'm kind of lukewarm about it.

Currently, I'm employed as a pharmacy technician at Kroger. My day-to-day duties pretty much include taking scripts, entering them into the computer system, calling doctors' offices and insurance companies, pulling stock bottles, counting and measuring medications, labeling them, and selling them to our customers. I really like the medical-type experience it gives me, and my coworkers are the absolute best people I've ever worked with! Dealing with customers who are almost NEVER happy with anything you do for them is the absolute worst, however. It's never the people with legitimate medical problems that give me grief, they're usually veeery kind. Let's just say it's the people who, um, are always in "a lot of pain..." :\

It requires constant training and certification, but overall it's a good job. Even though I don't get the hours I really need, and my pay is grossly below what I should be making for the work I do - I enjoy it. :] At least until I get my degree...
