I do have a job, and like Scarf, I'm kind of lukewarm about it.
Currently, I'm employed as a pharmacy technician at Kroger. My day-to-day duties pretty much include taking scripts, entering them into the computer system, calling doctors' offices and insurance companies, pulling stock bottles, counting and measuring medications, labeling them, and selling them to our customers. I really like the medical-type experience it gives me, and my coworkers are the absolute best people I've ever worked with! Dealing with customers who are almost NEVER happy with anything you do for them is the absolute worst, however. It's never the people with legitimate medical problems that give me grief, they're usually veeery kind. Let's just say it's the people who, um, are always in "a lot of pain..." :\
It requires constant training and certification, but overall it's a good job. Even though I don't get the hours I really need, and my pay is grossly below what I should be making for the work I do - I enjoy it. :] At least until I get my degree...
