How much effort do you put into your posts?

When you're posting, do you tend to put a lot of effort into the content of the posts therefore making them detailed and interesting but also time-consuming, or do you prefer to just get your point across quickly but without much attention to detail and general content?

I make my posts short and to the point. Describing takes a bit of effort on my part (not that I'm lazy or anything).

I think it really depends on the thread. Many times I can't be too detailed (like in some OVP threads) or I don't really know what to say but want to post, so my posts can be short. Other times, my posts can take 10 or 15 or up to 30 minutes (like my old challenge updates, before I realized the amount of typing it took was putting me off from updating and playing)

And sometimes I'm just lazy. XD

I don't know yo. I don't even lift while typing for a post.

That depends on a few different things... I put effort into my posts for a few different reasons... namely: 1.) If the the thread interests me; 2.) If I'm feeling good/not lazy; 3.)The relative value of my post; and 4.)To get the ladies..

depends on how much am i interested in the thread!but often i post first things comes to mind..maybe i take effort to think about replying someone's opinion whe it's against mine because i like to prove my points with evidences and i hard if not impossible give up on the thoughts i believe in!

I try to put as much effort into my posts as possible. If I'm interested in what I'm posting about, I tend to elaborate much more with lots of descriptions. Well..I think I had a slight passion for writing and a knack for languages since I was young, so I guess it stuck on till today. I try to keep the reader interested in what I have to say, so that they don't just read the first line, get bored and move on, that sort of thing. Something I learnt while writing compositions for my English classes during my schooling days haha.

If it's a thread I really want to shine in, then I'll put a lot of effort into my post. The post, more often than not, will only be a paragraph or two long, but I feel that the post would, more often than not, be superior to a good portion of posts in the thread. Ah, the notorious Harlequin ego is shining through! Brilliant! Most of the time though, I just write whatever comes to mind, being sure to include the outrageous amount of exclamation marks that a good Harlequin post always seems to have.

Usually it's short and sweet. Posts take me maybe a minute to post. But that's because I post here in OVP! It usually doesn't take much to write up a simple reply.

If it's something serious, I'll write it up, and then preview it 500 times to make sure it sounds right and get the nerve to post it. Which is probably a good thing; sometimes I realize I didn't word things quite right.

Depends on my interest level and how much I can say about the topic at hand. If it's something I can really relate to, I can go on long rambling posts but if not usually I'll just answer with a quick response.

I used to put a TON of effort into my posts, but now I only do that for special occasions. Other than that, I just sort of let the words flow through me and see what happens. If I have a ton to say then I'll try and word it nicely so that it's not overly boring, but if it's just short and sweet then I don't see the need to put in a whole lot of effort.

It depends on the thread too, really.

Depends on the thread, really.. and how in-depth I end up going into the topic with. I generally try and cover everything that I want to say in about a paragraph or so.. sometimes it can be shorter. Just.. whatever is on my mind, really. I don't purposely try and make my posts verbose.. and on the other hand, I don't ever just post for the sake of posting, I usually have something I want to share or get across.

On OVP, I don't put much effort into my posts. I only put effort when I'm welcoming someone, and on my resource shop.
