how would you describe your gacha luck

straightforward question, no bsing. for all of you gacha players out there, is luck more or less on your side when you pull the higher ranked/star units?

Luck is never on my side, and this is why I don't play gacha games. Those games that I have played that have gacha systems in them - Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as the most recent, prominent example that I wasted 85 hours of my life on - have always repeatedly screwed me over, and I find myself asking if I want to keep trying to get this thing for another 2+ hours or if I want to go and do something fun. The answer depends on my mood, honestly.

When I played Fire Emblem Heroes for a while I never got the pulls I wanted...well, except for one time when I got swimsuit Xander wielding a fish. I didn't know I needed that until I got it.

Bad for the most part, though I was lucky with the first season of MK Tour (or very lucky should I say?) and with some of ACPC's Fortune Cookies, but not anymore

i would say that my luck generally depends... lately in dragalia lost it's been on the mostly good side but not so much in pokemon masters, so i guess it balances out!

Consistently inconsistent. Sometimes you get nothing and sometimes you get more than what you were aiming for. Depends more on the rates+pull chance than anything else. Pull enough and you realise how random it all is.

I saw Xenoblade 2 mentioned and it definitely took me 9 hours of only grinding in the post game to get KOS-MOS to appear. Although I can't say I had much issue with that element of the game besides that case since all the really desirable Blades were side quest rewards or story Blades.

My luck in LLSIF has been hella bad. Pokemon Masters has been pretty decent though, but I still don't understand a lot about the game so I may just be talking bs. I try to stay away from gacha games because I can get addicted quite easily.

I did a really scary thing a few days ago and went through my transaction history and counted how much money I'd spent on gachas... Thankfully most of it was from a little over a year ago where up until that point I was super invested in them (still am, but I know better than to show that with my wallet now). But the real kicker was when I was comparing my FGO luck to a friend who always saved for months, or even a whole year at one point, for the units he wanted, someone who only spent money for the guaranteed SSR that happened twice a year, I found he had much better luck than I did, and it turns out that most of my investment came from trying to obtain a single unit rather than spending and having the 'luxury' of obtaining multiple at once. It's really weird because I can count on more than one occassion rolling a rare unit with a 'YOLO' roll, so really most of the money spent gave me a net negative gain and I should just roll on a whim more often.

I've been burnt by off-banner spooks in FEH too many times though to seriously consider spending money on it again, and I find that the pity rate increase for every failed roll is a textbook example of gambler's fallacy. I think that this is an appropriate time to mention that please, if you ever even think about spending money on gacha, make sure you have someone you trust keep you in line so you don't fall for the sparkly lights. I've seen too many people get caught up in their summoning fever and then later casually mention that they spent something ridiculous like $1000 on this single banner. It's alright to have a bit of fun every now and then, BUT STICK TO YOUR BUDGET!

I've been lucky at times but not super lucky. For the most part, my luck has been pretty average. Fire Emblem Heroes allowed me to get axe-wielding Ike and spoilerific Micaiah right off the bat, but then I also got a whole lot of 3 star characters that I didn't know.

In Final Fantasy Brave Exvius I never got the characters I wanted. In Magikarp Jump I have yet to fish up a Dratini nor complete all of the Magikarp patterns. I guess that's the extent of what I remember from my gacha luck, so Fire Emblem Heroes was perhaps the one highlight of my gacha career.

i'd like to update saying that lately my gacha luck has been... less than stellar. haven't been getting great pulls from Pokemon Masters as of late and the same goes for Dragalia Lost. ah well.
