5th Gen How would you feel if Black and White were delayed and made into 3DS games?

Well, making them into 3DS games would take too long, wouldn't it? Sure they already have everything done but making it into soley a 3DS game would require them to..well...remake them (more than likely). That could take too long. I'd prefer if black and white are played on the 3DS or DSi they will have upgraded features. That way the people who don't have a DSi or 3DS aren't left in the dust, and all of us w/ a 3DS or DSi will be happy.

Actually the new games have TWL in their serial numbers instead on NTR meaning these games have DSi "enhancements" I'm hoping its merely a cosmetic enhancement for the larger DSi/DSi XL screens so the graphics do not appear stretched not some crappy thing like downloadable content or updates
 
i don't think they will be, but they will make chrome/grey on 3ds and it will be dramastically improved than b/w.
 
Noooooo!! I (and many other people as well) definitely do not have the kind of money to buy a new game system! I'm sure the regular DS/DS Lite will have the capability for the new graphics, right?
 
i wouldn't care if they delayed it and it was playable on a regular ds but if they delayed it and then forced us to buy a 3ds i would be very very angry.
 
In all honesty, I really wouldnt care. I never really decided if I was going to get Black/White in the first place. Like with HGss, I see other people play it and discuss and decide off of that. :P I don't think I'm going to buy it, or the 3DS. I've always wanted a HGss remake and I got it. I'm done. :P I already have a DSi and DS Lite so why bother getting another system. for POKEMON for crying out loud.
 
I'd legit cry ;o3o I'd really hate it if Game Freak trashed a perfectly good console with great potential, just to make room for another Pokémon game. That's kind of what I said for the 3nd Generation... Two sets of games?! That's it?! I mean, I think there should be at least two Pokémon generations before introducing a new console, and that's just what they're doing.

But I'm quite sure Game Freak won't suddenly change their mind.
 
I wouldn't really mind. I'm already planning on getting a 3DS for another game that I want to play, so I'm going to have one anyway. If Black and White were on the system as well, I'd be fine.
 
Doesn't the 3DS make every game into a 3DS game? Hell if not make B&W usable on the normal DS and the 3DS

Besides, you can already pre-order the game as a DS game, so I don't think they would do this. I plan on getting the 3DS at some point, but not that soon.
 
Maybe I have miserunderstood the information on the 3DS, but I think that the 3ds will be able to give 3d illusion thanks to the 3d data, so all the DS game, even the old one, will be able to be showed in 3d (if they are 3d): for example hg/ss overworld will be displaied in 3d on the 3ds, instead the battle that are 2d, will appear flat.
Probably the difference will appear with the new connection capabilities:
on the ds it will be a bit slow, on dsi faster, on the 3ds even more.
Also dsi&3ds will have some camera feature.
 
They aren't going to dump what they're working on just because of the 3DS. BUT I have a feeling that Black and White will be able to take advantage of the 3DS' 3D. Just think about it. Look at the battle sequences, or Hiun City. Does it not seem like they're being made to look like they could be in stereoscopic 3D? I think they do.
 
I think they wouldnt do this
plus if they did then I would be spending alot of money buying a 3DS & Pokemon Black.
 
I'd be really frustrated...

I hope that they keep the entire generation compatible with ALL DS consoles...so that I can have Hoenn on DSi, and therefore every region in one generation!

Well, except for Orre, which doesn't count.
 
It'll just mean I'd have to get the 3DS earlier than I planned. I was going to wait for the third counterpart for B&W
 
I wouldn't be happy :< I mean I don't want to wait even LONGER for the US release to come out. =p
