Am I the only one who thinks these episodes keep ending at the worst possible moment? XD Where's next week's episode?!

Huh, I'm impressed. I was sure Peridot was manipulating Steven and was going to stab him in the back. i guess she really needs everyone alive for backup.

What is the giant Cluster for? How would Homeworld control it? I guess we'll find out...

It seems I'm not the only one wondering about The Cluster. I've no idea how large the Gems' home-world is, but still, a creature larger than the Earth has to be at least slightly hard to control, not to mention capture if it'll wreck the planet upon hatching; how do they plan on taking it from space across the galaxy to the home-world?

No, I thought that too, but she seems pretty weak without her technology; I think her weapon was within her armor/the armor itself.

Firstly i should mention i love the episode and the title..like alot.

Secondly i really think its great Peridot is probably gonna be a good guy now and all and its cool how she trusts steven.

Also wow the cluster is larger than earth was i the only one thinking it was a big mutant that would run around crushing things then smash the earth or no? I mean once the earth is destroyed whats it gonna do float in space and die?

Also Peridot is becoming a favorite of mine i must say she's kinda adorable in a way and fiesty :P

My gem representative: Garnet. the reason being she is the manifestation of the love between Ruby and Sapphire. and that is just plain beautiful
Favorite Episode: Full disclosure,Alone Together, and the episode with Uncle Grandpa. Pearl's reaction to the floating head thing was hilarious.


1. Who is your favorite non-gem character? That's easy, Connie. she is just so adorable. and the banter between her and Steven is just so full of dawwws

2. Which character do you feel you're most like? I personally don't feel im like any of the characters but My friend, the one whom I mentioned in my introduction post, says I remind her of Steven. which I take as a high compliment

3. Who is your favorite gem overall (not limited to Crystal Gems)? Garnet no question. because shes so serious while at the same time being adorable.

4. Do you draw fanart or write fanfiction of the series? Would you? No I don't. and while I love to RP I would never write one of SU. I would never feel like anything I wrote would be as good as the show. and I wouldn't be able to let myself like anything I wrote cause I'd be comparing it to the real show

5. Favorite song from Steven Universe? that's a really tough one. but I suppose it would be a toss up between "Stronger then you" or "Like a Comet"

6. What do you think of Lion, Steven's pet pink lion? I think there is probably something big that's being hidden about him. its plenty safe to assume he has some connection with Rose Quarts as evidenced by him being a storage device for many of Rose's old things. I want to say that perhaps he has something to do with Rose's room maybe? Like a rouge AI program given mass like the gems. I suspect Rebecca Suger has something big planned for Lion

Glad others like the Uncle Grandpa episode, when I was watching it I noticed it got pretty low reviews compared to other episodes.. I mean I know some people dislike UG but that SU ep was awesome. Hilarious in too many ways.

Since you answered enough of the topic questions you can choose a non-Crystal Gem for me to put next to your name (won't overwrite your choice of Garnet, of course, since you'll have two). So either Jasper, Peridot, or Lapis for now. Take your pick. ^^

Thoughts on Back to the Barn:

Geez, that scene with Peridot treating Pearl like a toy was so disturbing. It made me feel really uncomfortable.

A giant robot battle was definitely not what I expected out of this episode, but I'm so glad it's what we got! It was nice to see Pearl showcased now that she's on the road to recovery.

Awww, Amethyst's and Pearl's relationship is so cute these days. Pearl's even taking on some of her good qualities!

Honestly, they've both been learning from each other quite a bit lately. It's nice to see Amethyst being less childish at times and Pearl learning to enjoy herself more.

It's also nice to see Peridot learning from her mistakes for a change. Though the fact that the two went so fast from, "Let's stop the Earth from exploding," to, "Let's fight in giant robots," was somewhat disturbing.

Pearl would've won that fight if she didn't telegraph her last attack for 20 minutes, by the way.

This is my new favorite episode. I am in love with Pearl and loved seeing how much she's progressed from a few episodes ago compared to now. She's such a different gem and a lot more confident in herself but not so confident that she steps over others.. that was something Peridot really needed to know. Plus that space suit is back? ヽ(；▽；)ノ gah so cute

Happy with Peridot's development and can't wait to see how her friendship with the Crystal Gems will grow over time. To have an episode dedicated to my two favorite characters is just so great. I almost forgot about the cluster there. The ending was a good way to end the episode, too, with Pearl losing and all. If she had won it'd only fuel the idea that the stronger one should be the leader and that's not a very good lesson for neither Pearl nor Peridot.

This is definately one of my favorite episodes although i guessed there was going to be duplicate gems before i never thought theyd be so different compared to the crystal gems. Also im glad to see Peridot "helping" the gems and finally recognizing Pearl as more than the traditional "Pearl".

Sometimes I don't understand why SU seems to be the only show I know that takes this many hiatuses and can't seem to produce enough content in time but that's probably just my obsessiveness taking over. Unfortunate. ;_;

Wow great episode! Its great to see Peridot bond with another Gem other than steven and actually admit her feelings, although i do wonder if she has a crush on amethyst at all or more likely just enjoys her sense of humor? But anyways Peridots quite funny haha all the jokes she made where quite good although some were hurtful.

Boy do I hate Peridot after this episode. Before I just really disliked her, but now I'm feeling resentful that every single episode has to be about her in some way. She reminds of Scrappy Doo... I don't understand why she's so important.

I also felt like Peridot's crush on Amethyst was rushed, to the point where it doesn't even look genuine to me. I know that probably wasn't the intention, but it was too fast to go from "looking up to a superior" to "actually longing for a connection." Peridot's one saving grace seems to be that she's funny, but that isn't enough to get me to like her.

So now we know all quartz are meant to be huge warriors? I guess Amethyst was supposed to look more like Jasper or Rose, then. That's pretty much all the new information I got out of this one.

Why no more new episodes?! ;_; At least this wasn't a cliffhanger.

And as far as Peridot being similar to Zuko goes.. totally agreed hahaha. I've seen some people make that similarity. She's awkward with making friends and hardly has a good concept of how to foster proper relationships.

Dragon just mentioned this to me (click). Thoughts? I'm honestly appalled and very, very disappointed. I'd really rather the SU fandom not turn as toxic as MLP's. Those bad eggs just stand out too much and ruin the fandom for others which is extremely disheartening. =(

I can't believe this actually happened. When will people learn that destroying another person in the name of "criticism" or "justice" never helps anyone? At least there's a lesson to be learned here.

The old saying that one should "say something nice or not say anything at all" is obviously wrong, but what one should do is make sure that one's criticism will improve people's lives. Of course, sometimes whether people will be hurt by criticism is unpredictable; some people are just too sensitive. But a constant stream of abuse would hurt anyone, and it doesn't help a good cause.
