xD, well, you might have figured what I'm about to ask you, probably not, though, since it's a bit general.

It deals with the dark. Have you ever been scared of the dark like when you were young, or even better, are you scared of the dark? Do you sleep with a nightlight? xD

I used to be terrified of the dark when I was little. Had two nightlights and they were always close. But nowadays, I feel cured of the darkness... still, it does get to me at times when I'm in pitch black darkness. Hehe. : ]

I used to think that aliens were outside my window, waiting for me to turn out the lights. Now that I know better am older I only worry about more mundane things like burglars and wild dogs waiting for me to turn out the lights, but not really. I'm not afraid of the dark.

I used to, but now surprisingly I prefer to be in the dark. Light has just been just getting brighter and brighter. Talk about can't see.

When I was younger I liked the landing light on.
But now that i'm a bigger boy I like it when it's dark, I can get to sleep easier..

There's nothing scary about the dark. I used to be, but logic won over. An absence of light doesn't mean that the amount of Djiin everywhere is more. So I proceed as normal. The only thing that I fear in the dark are assassins, snipers or the wrath of God(which I also fear in the light).

When I was a little young boy I always kept those night lights close by,I was scared of the dark like every little kid is lol. Now that I'm older I don't need some nightlight. I've actually become a person who likes the dark. Bright stuff in my eyes is not pleasant anyways.

When I was little I would turn off the lights and quickly jump into bed and hide under the covers, because I was scared of demon arms snatching me from under my bed. Lol. These days, in my more paranoid frenzies, I plan out what items around me I would use as weapons in the unlikely event some creep broke into my window.

I wasn't scared of the dark until I was thirteen years old. XD Well, now I can sleep comfortably during those full moon nights.

There is still a pinch of fear when I finally turn the lights off. The feeling that I'm alone in the dark at night is kinda fearful, but only for a moment.

    I'm 21 in April.

And I'm still terrified of the dark. I have a night-light and everything. And a torch on my bedside table. >:

I dunno. They say everybody's got one thing they're mortally afraid of, and this is mine (:

I was scared of the dark when I was little and I am still I little scared now.

I need to have my light on, yes, my main light. Why? Well, my imagination is so broad, it makes me hear and see things in the dark that are horrifying. I need to keep my light on, or I will be plagued with whispers and 'movements'. I'm not afraid of the dark, I'm afraid of my imagination in the dark.
This is basically the same for me, as well. I wouldn't say I'm afraid of the dark or being in the dark. When I'm in the dark, however, I lose my ability to see. Fairly obvious, but due to the fact that I can't see what's going on around me (even though nothing is going on around me) my hearing seems to be magnified because I can hear pretty much everything going on in my house and I typically hear at least one sound that normally wouldn't be so scary, but its enough to make me feel rather terrified for a split second.

Sometimes I listen to music while I'm trying to go to sleep. I have a habit of playing music rather loudly when I'm alone but I can't do that because I need to hear what's going on around me due to paranoia. If I can't see or hear,... blah! I don't even know. There's a volume limit to where I start to feel chills when I've gotten there so I know not to pass that. But I'd much rather be listening to music than my magnified hearing delusions.

My main paranoia is that someone is downstairs, though, whenever I go there in the dark. So going outside of my room in the dark requires at least two lights to be turned on. Thankfully, one light switch is right outside my door. Unfortunately, my room is right at the top of the stairs. I remember being scared to go out of my room in the dark because of that, but that isn't the case anymore.

Hm... well... I like to have a light on but I'm not scared of the dark. I'm clumsy and I always stub my goddamn toe on my desk, y'see.

I used to be terrified of it though.

I'm just scared of it when I drink too much coffee in the middle of the night. I imagine hearing creepy sounds. Just like right now. XD

Can't say that I am, or ever have been, afraid of the dark. I actually find it difficult to sleep unless it's pitch black. It doesn't take long for my eyes to adjust so I can see anyway.

I don't think anything paranormal hides in the dark but some times since i am alone at home most of the night i fear that when i go take a shower and come back out that some one might have broken in and waiting in the shadows too crack me with a bat.

When i was little i don't really remember. I think we slept with the bathroom light on...heh.

The dark frightens me now and then, I do sleep with my bedroom light on though.

When I was little I was petrified of the dark. I was afraid of an assortment of monsters if that's what you'd like to call them. My mom who loves buying little knick knacks then decided to buy me nightlights that went with the seasons. During the winter it was a snowman, spring was an angel, summer was a bunch of flowers, and the fall was a pumpkin.

I now prefer to sleep in absolute darkness. It's kind of weird how things turned out.

Only if it's quiet as well...
My own imagination tries to kill me. ._.

But now, I just put my iPod on, turn off all the lights and go to bed. <3
