I Like Aromatisse Now

What are Pokemon that you've completely changed your mind about nowadays? Whether it be love, dislike, annoyance, or indifference. (btw Aromatisse is just and example.)

i thought togekiss looked dumb when it was revealed but then i found a plushie one at target and my dad bought it for me and it's been one of my favorite gen IV pokemon since then. also didn't like black kyurem at first and it's one of my fave legendaries. i don't really know why though. something about it grew on me lmfao.

I thought Bibarel was pointless and dumb until I used it on a Y Nuzlocke. I 100% expected it to die somewhere along the way but instead it pretty much carried me and was the reason why I beat the Nuzlocke so now I have a lot of respect for Bibarel bc of it.

Another Pokemon that's grown on me is Toxicroak. Didnt use to like it or it's design at all but it's grew on me for some reason despite still not really never using it.

Poipole grew on me tons because of the anime I didn't care for a single Ultra Beast before Poipole and now I want to protect it with my life.

I'm sure there are a few more but those are the top three that I can think of.

I used to have a disdain for the Mudkip line. As a child, I'd always become a Mudkip after taking the personality quizzes in Pokemon Explorers of Sky and I wanted to be Skitty or Chikorita. Thus, I really despised Mudkip. However, I now think that the Axolotyl-based pokemon is adorable! I love Marshtomp and Swampert as well. They've all grown on me so much.

Used to dislike/not care for Grimer/Muk but I actually think they're kinda cool nowadays, especially their Alolan variants! :o

i thought tsareena would be that pokemon that looks good but does not perform at the same tier as its appearance. boy, it proved me wrong. it swept four of kukui's pokemon (ohko'ing his snorlax too O.O) and it was like one or two levels behind. no z-moves were used.

 

[Fairy]

I thought Comfey was very silly when it was announced, tbh. I liked its design and all, but it felt like a rehash of Flabebe. It felt very redundant and uninspired to me. However, over time I've really come to love the little flower crown! I think incorporating it into fan art is really what turned the page for me. I couldn't help but to think of it as adorable. :')
