If you could apply to moderate a forum

    Imagine there were moderator applications! You could pick any forum you want, but you'd need a reason why. Why would you want to moderate a certain section?

    Basically, this thread is asking which forum you'd pick, and why, assuming in this hypothetical question you get to mod the one you choose. Make your posts like real applications too :)

    Also note, it's advised you don't basically say you want to be a mod, since staff don't like that. :3 It's all hypothetical!
    Oh and current mods/staff can apply too... for a forum other than what they already have.

    Forum: Art Contest Section/Graphics Section
    Why you want to moderate it: Basically because I post very seldom and when I do post I post in those sections, I'm also very interested in graphics and I live for SOTW.. xD Also can one mod blogs? xD

    Why you want to moderate it: Because Chibi shouldn't have to mod it by herself. Because it's my third most favorite place (after OT and the RP section) where there aren't enough Mods. And it isn't as active as some of the Pokemon sections muttermutterHGSS/DPPtmuttermutter so I don't think I'd have too much of a problem modding it ^_^
     
    Forum that I would like to Moderate: Probably, Pokemon General, Pokemon Trivia, HG/SS or Diamond/Pearl forums.

    Why I'd like to moderate in those forums? Because I quite like those forums and since I am on nearly every day and I roam around those forums alot. AND I have some extensive knowladge on D/P.

    I would mod Other Games probably, cause... thats and oc ovp an ot are the only forums i even look at lul :|
     
    I would mod Other Games because ummm well duh Klippy is there. jk, jk. I'm fine with what I have. xD Back in the day, I would have said Pokemon Fan Fiction. Yeah. Before it was merged with Other Writing.

    For future posters, trust me. You don't want my sections. They're messy. brb gotta clean'em.

    Why you want to moderate it: Well, I post in the DDC alot, so is seems natural.
     
    Pokemon General, Pokemon Games & Trivia, and Other Games.

    Why?

    Way back...many years ago...when I actually was a mod on my old account, those were the sections delegated to me...funny how I only frequent one of them nowadays. XD
     
    Forum: Emulation, HG/SS, Other Entertainment, or Other Chat
    Why you want to moderate it: I'll explain each one separately.

    Emulation: I've been there since I joined, and even though I haven't been there that much lately, I still know pretty much all the rules there and can help keep the forum in shape. Especially considering how much I log onto PC anyway. As for all the know-it-all hacking stuff, I'll leave that to the smart moderators. :>

    HG/SS: I've been going to that forum since they first made it back in September, and I've been making sure to read the rules and to follow them. I know the rules to the section, and I do my best to report and off-topic/spam/already-made threads and any spam/off-topic posts.

    Other Entertainment: It's a cool little forum to go to now and again. Even though there are no rules stickied at the moment, I still know what to do from the previous rules that used to be up there.

    Other Chat: Pretty much the same as the other three. I've been reading and following the rules, and have been doing my best to report anything that needs to be reported.


    I realize that my reasons for wanting to become a mod in those forums are quite stupid and repetitive, but that's how I usually think of it. In my opinion, there's no better way for me to explain why. Besides the fact that I LOVE those forums.

    It was the very first sub-forum I ever modded and I have many memories attached to it as well. It was once known as 'Home of the Sprites' and I was modded there around... December 5th, 2005. I recognise it's modless at the moment but... it is a place I have had many experiences with and I wouldn't mind reliving them either.

    Why you want to moderate it: Because someone needs to keep those pesky s-mods in line and I sometimes look at that forum so I think I'd be good for the job. I would hold regular events so that people would want to be active in the forum. I would also---oh, I have to apply for a forum other than what I have. :'(

    Forum: Pokémon General
    Why you want to moderate it: You have to deal with a LOT of duplicate threads but I really enjoy the atmosphere in this forum. It's either fun/interesting discussions, or else a handful of polls that require less thought than OVP, meaning I actually tend to reply to them. XD; If something's in the wrong forum in it, it's usually not too hard to figure out where it goes. There's a lot to mod, but it's not like... super confusing. I like it. 8(

    Forum: Graphics & Photography and/or Competitions.

    Reason:     It's just about the only section I post in these days regularly, also competitions needs to be cleaned up, threads locked, winners emblems given out which isn't being done since there really isn't anybody looking after it.

    Why you want to moderate it: I have a few reasons. The first would be because I LOVE to report threads and Pokemon general is always full of threads to report and the only thing better then reporting is locking. ;) Secondly, it was the first section I really got in to and even now I post at least once a day in that section. Also everyone seems pretty friendly there and the threads are usually interesting.

    Forum: Poetry
    Why you want to moderate it: I love the poetry section that doesn't get enough love and attention. I usually try to submit a poem for poem of the week every week. Along with that I love to read everyone else's poems.

    Why you want to moderate it:     I love Pokemon, as does everyone here. This was the place I most hang out when I first started here, and even though I dont go there much anymore, I really love it, since it is anything and everything about Pokemon :3

    Why you want to moderate it:     Do I even have to explain? I live here.
     
    Meh, if I could I would take Pokemon Anime and Movies.

    I mean seriously, sometimes the mods there didn't do much of a job to take care of the Rule-Ignorers and now it has no moderator. The upper staff doesn't have that much of time to take care of that area, and I personally think we would need a shipping sub-section... cause yeah, I'll admit we get bored and off-topic once in a while due to limitations, but we like debunking the shippings of the people that just rampage in without reading the page.

    Now, what's my next dream?
