I lurk in the shadows of Darkness waiting for the opportunity to strike! I like stalking people as well, so the cover of Darkness aids me in this goal without being seen - unless it's a moderator in which case I'm pretty sure they can see me anyway V___V
 
I don't use it. Never have.

Don't see the point in it.
 
Nahh, I want my friends/contacts to know when I'm on so they can have a conversation with me :3
 
Sometimes I use it when I've been on PC for an age, but want to continue browsing without people judging me for being on too long. But then I realise a few minutes into it that mods can still see me... so it doesn't last too long!
 
I used to use it during my absence from PC when I would log in occasionally (like once every few months) just to "check in..." then I realized staff could still see me so that was kind of a fail. XD; So no, I don't use it anymore. I don't see a purpose now.
 
Yes, on other forums I've had issues with annoying people so I always go invisible for precautionary measures.
 
Although I'm not in it right now, and this is very odd for me, I am almost always invisible in online communities as well as on Msn and Skype and the like. I'm not trying to avoid anyone of hide from them, I just don't like the idea of being seen, although I'm aware that mods can do this anyway. It's really hard to explain but yes, I use invisible mode very regularly and it's one of my favorite features of vBulletin forums.

Aaaaaaaand with that, I'm going invisible again. x)

I have no need to use it and couldn't be bothered either
 
I use Invisible mode, but I have no idea what my original reason for using it in the first place was. I like not being seen; it suits me.
 
I don't see a big use for Invisible mode usually because every staff member down to the mods can see you. :/

I do use it if I don't want to be randomly messaged, but I so rarely get messages anyway this isn't a problem because I let PC idle me out rather than wasting resources by auto-reloading the page, unless I'm intentionally watching a thread like a hawk for some reason or another.
 
Well . . . I used to use it back when I was all shy and introverted and stuff. I sort of lurked around the forums, and it suited me to be invisible.

Nowadays - unless I've accidentally left it on since 2009 without realising - I never use it at all. There's just no need for it now. I like being online, and being visible. Suits me just fine to be a green light rather than a grey one.
 
There are times when I go on invisible (such as now) when I don't really feel like having people see me online. Of course, this doesn't include the other mods because they can see me anyways, but it's more towards the regular members who can't see whether I'm online or not. Usually I don't feel like having them see me when I have a lot of work to do, or I'm not in a pleasant mood so cutting down even more so on the little amount of VMs I get helps a little.
 
I think I'm always in invisible mode xD Last time, I forgot to turn it off for more than a month I think. And when I turned it off, people saw when I was online and for some reason I found that annoying. So I turned it on again xD I iz ninjaah

Even if I did use it, people could still see me posting around, so they'd know I was on.
 
Very very rarely when I didn't want to be seen by members. Usually if I don't want to be noticed, though, I'll just log onto my old account. Which is on invisible mode to avoid members. XD;

As a mod, I don't like using invisible mode, because I want members to know when I'm on. That way they can PM me or whatever.
