iPhone 4s versus Galaxy S4

    Okay, so, I'm midway through saving up for a phone, cept I don't exactly know what phone I want to get. ;c Many people have said Galaxy S4, cause the iPhone 4s is obsolete, but I don't know if that helps me decide at all. I possess a Microsoft Surface, which doubles as a tablet and a laptop, so I'm fearful that I might get this expensive phone and not even ise it to its fullest potential. My carrier is MetroPCS, by the way, so ya.


    Any advice, thoughts, comments would be sweet. Although if I'm honest, I don't even know if this'll help me decide much. :P
     
    Go for Android. It's far more customizable (You can use swipe/pin/password on the lock screen, you can move apps on your home page, plus if you want to, you can find alternate apps for basic functions, like your launcher or lockscreen, if you don't like the stock one) than iOS and you don't have to jailbreak it to play games if you emulate games often. The S4 is also much more powerful, and has a lot more features than any iPhone you'd find.

    Plus yeah, the 4S is outdated, superseded by the 5/5S/5C.
     
    I'd go Android since iPhones are all designed to have only 1 button to interface with apps and requires you to exit an app to get into its settings, while the S4 has 4 buttons that explain what they do within the button icon itself. (Volume and power buttons do not count as buttons for interfacing with apps).

    Though I'm not sure how well an S4 will fit in skinny jean pockets. It's positively massive for a phone and every single iPhone model looks small by comparison.
     
    I actually cracked up at the skinny jeans bit. Partially cause it's true and I hadn't thought about it, but mostly cause you brought it up to begin with =P


    Meh, well, it'll take about a month or so-ish. But it looks like I'm going with Galaxy S4. ;3
     
    When my upgrade comes around, I'm going to have to decide between the 5S and the Google Nexus 5.

    What do you plan to use the phone for, besides the obvious, though?
     
    Get a 5s. BRING THE HATE *****ES.

    Just so you know, the 4S isn't really obsolete. iOS7 still exists there. xD

    but I'm not gonna be biased and be like LOL GET THE IPHONE YEEEEEAH. I'm still loyal to Android and if you get the S4 you will be the coolest. Must take advantage of Kit-Kat, ya know!

    So yeah, go for the S4. You will be satisfiiiiied.
