I Recommend u to Buy it! if u already completed ur diamond. what u will do next? Treat this game as an another Adventure of Pokemon Diamond

i have the game but my Parents took my Wii as a Punishment and i cant play PBR anymore...

but leave that. u just buy the game and play it. its really fun seeing ur Pokemon that are from your Diamond in 3D better than seeing them on ur DS.and its fun to play in lots of modes in the game. not only that.

after u Complete the game. they will give u a Pikachu that learns Volt Tackle and Surf and transfer it to ur Diamond . also u can get Electivire and Magmortar( check on Serebii for more Information about it)

    and Thats it.

Yes, but only if you plan to battle competitively online with others. The offline campaign itself is horrible. I beat it within like half an hour. :(

PBR is almost essential if you have both wi fi and D/P. it's just-less-than-okay if you just have D/P, cause of the survival matches and PKTOPIA events you get..have neither, just stay away from this game.

however with all the said peripherals, this game OWNS. ^_^

I say yes, buy it because its a fun game, good wi-fi battles, and good prizes in the game. ;]

This thread was made on the 9th of November I think he has his answer now!
Although, for those who own a Wii and are pokefans like him it is a good game to fight on 3D against others on Wifi aswell but it has no story to it so if you have other consuls and more of a gamer it only just gives you 3D batteling of your portable pokemon so not really worth it.

Well, this decision most certainly depends on what you want. On one hand, it can give out good rewards and fighting other players is always lovely. Although there are bad things, for it has no story, you just battle on and on.

tl;dr: If you want prizes and the opportunity to fight real players, go ahead and buy it. If you want a game with an actual story and don't care about the prizes if it's not fun, consider buying something else.

I swear, there's one of these every month. Look, if you've got the cash and you are a completionist, then go for it. It's essentially Random Wifi battles in 3D. Considering the amount of people that have moved to Shoddy and stuck exclusively to DS Wifi, you'll be lucky to find any interesting matches on there.

If you want the items and TMs for competitive play, it's an (unecnomical) option.

From what I've seen Pokemon Battle Revolution is... lacking. There's nothing to really do besides battle... And the online play doesn't have any options for rules and such, it's barebones.

It's good for the 3 Bonus Pokemon. And to get the rare berries (53-59), TM's, battle items, the new evolution stones and to test your battle team against Stargazer sets 7 and 8.

The reviews on the game were pretty weak. In fact, I was a little surprised at how bad most of them were.

I don't own a Wii (yet), but I've played the game at my friends house a couple of times, and it's... ok. Really though, it's basically Pokemon Stadium with Wifi (that's how I look at it, anyways), but without the mini-games and a bunch of other stuff Stadium had. The lack of a true RPG mode (that "story" mode just doesn't cut it) like Colosseum or XD had was disappointing, since that's what I was expecting the game to be. The online play is ok, but it get's a tad boring after a while.

I'll probably buy the game when I do eventually get a Wii, since I'm collector and such. Whether you want it depends on your own preferences. If you just like to collect games, or you like battling, then it's a good game. But if you were expecting the next Colosseum or XD, you'll be disappointed.

It is a better way to test out teams than Battle Tower. Although it doesn't have a story, but I liked it and is a good pass time, but not the best game, but good. If you want a RPG game, then don't get it, but if you like games like Pokemon Stadium and the second one, then you will like this. Also, you can get special items like Dusk Stone and Dawn Stone that you don't normally get in D/P/P. You can also get a good amount of TMs there too, and a few Mystery Gifts. Overall, this game isn't the best, but for battlers, it is a good buy!

    OP here.
I've decided to get PBR after borrowing it from a friend.
My experiences? For someone who likes to battle in the BT and on Shoddy alot, this is a godsend if you can find decent people to battle online (hint: not in PC).
So I'd say get it. I had fun with it, and I enjoyed concocting clever double battle strategies for the Stargazer Colloseum's fifth set.

Legendary doesn't automatically mean "more powerful."

On a related note, they did ban legendaries from Wi-Fi battles for a while. But it was a glitch in the system and quickly fixed.
