idk I genuinely like chatting on forums as a medium as much as I like live-chatting on Discord. There's a certain charm to forum posting that you can't get with live chat, I think. But that's just me. u_u

i get the relaxing and nostalgia. i hopped on the instant-messaging ship as it was first starting to sail, which might explain why i prefer it. i'm used to it and grew with it
