Why do people watch Shougeki no Souma anyway? It's really just animated food porn.

Every time I see some list by Japan, I get disappointed more and more in Japan. Like I know what I'll get, but I still get disappointed by them.

Gorilla was the only good thing about Nisekoi. Tachibana and Onodera were the worst. Every Tachibana chapter is a struggle.

Love the artwork (in the manga, mostly), the characters are likable, the ecchi used for comedy is decently done, character designs are great, story itself is nice for the most part and, well, what else? It is a pretty fucking solid shounen if you ask me.

Also, usually I am not one to say that Japan has shit taste. But in the case of that list, yes, they do have shit taste. Ochako and Kagura (especially Kagura) in top 5 of that list is absolutely WTF worthy :<

It's a poll of Shonen Jump readers of which Shonen Jump heroines those readers felt were the worst heroines. No Fairy Tail girls are eligible because Fairy Tail is published by one of the magazine's competitors.

Kagura from Gintama is who derozio was referring to.
 
Serious question, is it all downhill after Battle Tendecy? I have no relation to the manga, decided to finally watch this, and I am in love, I mean IN LOVE with what Part 2 brought to the table compared to Phantom Blood. Coda is the brst god damn OP I have everr heard(Like a bloody storm Akatsu like a Bloody Stone!), JoJo the 2nd is such a great character, and Aztec Vampires turning into an international cabal of vampires being revived by the Whermacht for world domination is sooo good, and the action is justwall to wall amazing. I know later part have Stands, Dio' revival and are more interconnected, but the early 1900s angle makes it unique to other modern day Shonen stuff. Should I just stop once I reach episode 26 or would that be a grave mistake, and actually enjoy later parts?


On another note, Dragon Ball Super stays winning. Those first 10 minutes of Episode 57 belong in the hall of fame for battle scenes, it was just a series of escelation after escalation, I cannot remember the last time I was just sitting there and constantly screaming along with the battle. And this is just the middle of the arc battles, the final confrontation with Black and Zamasu is going to be off the fucking charts.
 
Stardust Crusaders is the most standard battle shounen of them all but it's still great. You'll like it.

I just hope we get a part v anime, as a series it manages to out-camp part 2. Also part vi because Jolyne and gay priest (the most homosexual part of the entire series). The latest part isn't really shounen at all.

Yeah I heard Steel Ball Run and JojoLion are different, but in a good way. Rotations are the new stands and its an alt universe right?

Wait, parts 5 and 6 aren't a lock with the current studio? I mean, so far the current series is why it has so much popularity the last years despite being decades old, isn't it? At the very least I want adaptations cause once a shoe catches my interest, ifbthe content is there I want an adaptation. Really hate reqding manga on my phone.
 
Yeah, that's right.

It has remained popular over the years thanks to regular content but the anime would certainly have gotten an entirely new generation into the series. Western fanbase has swelled immeasurably.
 
Doing exercise, reading books, watching only airing anime.
