6th Gen Kalos Travel Journal

Let's see... I got my game today and obviously started playing. I picked Froakie and am in santalune city at the present time. I was surprised to see the 3 monkeys in the forsest.

My team as of this moment:
Fletchling lvl 10
Froakie lvl 11
Torchic lvl 10 (holding blazikenite)
 
So I took on Korrina twice since my last post, not only to win my second badge, but to also to get the Mega Ring and a Lucario as well. During the gym battle with Korrina, both my Braixen and my Ivysaur evolved into Delphox and Venusaur, respectively.

Beat the third gym and am now going to get the mega evolution ring.
During the gym fight, my Combusken evolved into a Blaziken. Also found an Eevee and is now a proud member of our team

Well, I've played 11 hours 48 minutes today, so I've decided its time to get some sleep! I finished off with defeating Ramos (?) and earning my fourth gym badge! I was also able to get my team's levels evened out (finally!) and all are fully evolved! First thing in the morning I will fly to Route 8, catch my final team member, Clauncher, and level him up before continuing with the game! I am loving X so far!

So from what little I've read of this thread (trying to avoid spoilers), we don't pretty much automatically get a shiny in the first hour of the game. All the more reason to use my new shiny Bunnelby.
 
It's not automatic. I still haven't seen a shiny in my game.

Decided to finally stop playing in Ambrette Town. My team went through a lot of changes along the way. I tried so many different Pokemon, including Pikachu (a female named Rose), a Pancham, a Flabébé, and now the ones that I have on my team. Ender evolved into a Charmeleon and Rittz evolved into a Frogadier.

It's been an exhausting day of chasing Furfrou, watching fireworks (that shipping moment on the balcony), and reviving fossils.

I've now got the second badge and I'm up to the Reflective Cave or whatever it's called. I did a lot of grinding because I seemed a bit underlevelled first though.

Got the game yesterday and been playing non-stop, log in 15 hours already and I only have 1 badge, I been so distracted by Pokemon Amie LOL. I'm at Cyllage city right now but gonna sleep a few hours and continue my journey in Kalos <3
