Mostly everyone who's signed up has been seen online, yes. Only ones who still need to make an intro post are Zero Percent and iamalekza, since NyxShooter dropped out. The problem with that is, neither of those two have online since the 14th/15th respectively. Would be nice to hear more about the Rp's status from the Gm himself however.
Yeah, I'd say go ahead and make your second posts now, guys. No idea what's up with iamelekza or Zero Percent (especially since 0% said he'd post 'tomorrow' several days ago), so they'll have to catch up later. I've been a tad busy with homework and such but I should be fine for now - I'll start work on my own post today as well.
I'll see if I can squeeze some time today for a second post. Just as a reminder, I"ll be gone for a few days this week because I'm going on vacation. I'll be back on Sunday.

I'll have my post up Saturday at the latest. Been working on a joint post for another Rp as the main half, which took a lot of work, since it was my first.
Yeah, I couldn't really find the time to write out a post like I wanted to. Ended up getting dragged to various places like the Dmv to register some stuff, haven't really spent that long in front of a computer. Lots of people who signed up for this Rp sure are missing though. You, me, Subsonic, and FinalMaster are the only ones who have been replying to this thread. Jegretis has been around, but no notification.
Finally posted. Sorry it's been so late. Things have been so unexpected lately, with school rapidly approaching. Glad to see Jegretis and Subsonic here. DeathofShadows really would be right about this Rp dying before it even starts.
Appearance:
With a height of 5'7'' and weighing in at about 120lbs, Esther is fairly slight of build. Her slim frame and long legs give her the appearance of being taller than she really is - a visual which can only be emphasised by her prominent character. Esther's skin is a milky white; the kind which refuses to tan regardless of exposure. In fact, the only effect the sun seems to have on Esther's complexion is a spatter of freckles across her nose, which contrasts starkly against her pallor. Her jet black hair, cut off sharply at her jawline, is glossy and effortlessly well-kempt. This, combined with her skin tone and her dull grey eyes, gives Esther a distinct monochromic impression, as if she'd just walked out of a graphic novel. Esther's face, narrow and pointed, often relaxes into an asymmetrical smirk, her dark angular brows and sharp, thin lips dripping with personality. The only splash of colour on Esther's face is her large, square glasses, which sport a tortoise-shell pattern.
Working with her colourless aesthetic, Esther almost exclusively dresses in shades of grey and black. A pair of charcoal skin-tight jeans hug her long legs up to her waist, where they meet her the bottom of her coveted leather jacket; a simple garment, with no fancy zips or buckles, which stops short of her hips. Esther usually prefers to don a plain white t-shirt, which carries on an inch or so below the hem of her jacket. Her heavy black combat boots are well-travelled, and ride half way up her calves.
Mega Stone: Alakazite
Personality:
In two words? No nonsense. Esther has no time or effort to give to pettiness, and she is not one to beat around the bush when telling you that, either. Quick-witted, opportunistic, and ambitious, Esther is very much an "end-justifies-the-means" kind of person. That is to say, she will get where she wants to be regardless of circumstance, and it isn't ever certain whether she is aware of the effects of her manipulation on others, or if she simply doesn't care. Simultaneously possessing both a venom and a silver tongue, Esther knows how to turn any situation to her favour. Self-indulgent and distant from morality, people often assume that Esther has no concept of standard human interaction. However, Esther's understanding of human nature is usually on-point, giving her a political edge which works hand-in-hand with her disregard for others in her pursuit of success.
Her confidence in herself lends Esther into blindly believing she has no flaws. Either quick to temper or always seething, Esther has an essence of a ticking bomb about her. Although she can plan office politics to the letter, she is prone to making rash, emotion-driven decisions with reckless abandon. A series of flukes will lead to increasing carelessness and complacency, meaning that the higher Esther climbs, the harder and faster she has to fall. Ever keen to give the impression of being hardy, independent and capable, Esther will stubbornly defend her actions and guard her feelings, refusing help and advice and eternally fearing that she will be seen as weak.
History:
Born and raised in Blackthorn City, Johto, Esther was the youngest member of the Winnett family. Her elder brothers, being 11 and 8 years older than her respectively, were shockingly handsome and capable young men. Intelligent, brave, and charismatic, The Winnett brothers were celebrated tamers of Dragon-Pokemon, and were favoured amongst the Ace Trainers who flocked to Blackthorn to train under Clair. Esther grew up watching her brothers in awe, as her parents pushed them to achieve all they could. She was enamoured by her brothers' successes, and they adored her the same, both feeling a dutiful need to protect their only sister.
As Esther grew older, she strove to follow in the footsteps of her brothers. Now both well-travelled, Esther's brothers had trained under all the greats, including Champion Lance and Unova's Drayden. As they rose in success and moved on from Blackthorn permanently, Esther was just reaching an age where she too would be allowed to train with Pokemon. However, something wasn't quite the same this time around. Esther remembered her parents encouraging her brothers with a burning passion, but when Esther showed an interest in Pokemon, she was smiled at and waved down. Her ambition to be the best was met, not with inspirational pep-talks, but with condescension and, eventually, stifled exasperation. It did not take Esther long to realise that having two successful brothers didn't mean that she had a lot to live up to after all. Little Esther's role in life was never to follow her brothers, but to remain the cute younger sister with a mediocre role in society, perhaps not even involving Pokemon at all.
So, after years of not having her dreams being taken seriously, Esther left Blackthorn without a word. Being the youngest and being a girl weren't going to get in the way of her glory, she bitterly told herself. She'd wipe the floor with her brothers' achievements and be home in time for tea.
Other: MY LEG! OH, THE HUMANITY.
Esther has been living away from home for almost a decade now, earning badges and training Pokemon in many regions. She's now returned to Johto, and is living in a sparsely-decorated apartment in Ecruteak when she's not on the road. It's a lifestyle which suits her perfectly.

Spoiler:
Adrianne and Tryad stood in silence, poised to fight. Nothing had shown up yet, but Adrianne daren't doubt her monster's instinct. Maybe nothing would turn up if they stayed still. She moved her head a fraction of an inch so her eyes locked on Tryad. Both of them had the same look of defiance on their faces, each one saying the same: Don't. Move.
BEEP.
Everything seemed to be in slow motion as the hamburger Adrianne had ordered formulated and dropped to the ground. She barely had time to contemplate destroying that good-for-nothing Tamer Band before the attack begun.
With a loud screeching, the attackers flew in from every angle. They pounced on everything; Adrianne, Tryad, the bomber jacket, the mushed burger lying in the mud. Tiny claws scratched every revealed surface of Adrianne's skin, small, pointed teeth sank into her flesh. She could hear Tryad's roar beside her, but could barely see from beneath the brightly coloured fur that surrounded her.
It appeared that they had walked straight into the territory of a pack of Elemental monkeys. She couldn't see much from where she was, but Adrianne knew enough about these things to identify their ferocious behaviour and bright fur. They lived in pretty much any forest or jungle across the world, so that certainly didn't rule out Puerto Rico. She could feel herself being burned, shocked and soaked as the different breeds attacked them. Metal raked her skin; gusts of wind whipped her hair around her face. Yup. They're all here.
Peeling a bright blue monkey from her face, Adrianne could see Tryad was holding his own. This seemed to ignite something in her belly, and so she gave a battle cry and started punching little furry faces left and right. The blood on her face was a mingled concoction of her foes' and her own, and she could imagine that it, combined with the fury on her face, made her look quite deranged. A winged monkey flew at her from the trees, but she held out an arm and swiped it to the ground. To her side, Tryad was using 'maul', and was ripping any monkeys that came his way into tiny shreds. An icy blue beast flung itself at Adrianne, its mouth wide open as it prepared to sink its frozen teeth into her cheek. Instinctively, Adrianne grabbed the monkey's jaws and ripped them apart, splitting its face in half and splattering her with blood. Between her and Tryad, the numbers had decreased significantly, but those that were left continued to advance.
"Alright, let's have some fun!" Adrianne yelled, twisting the neck of a metallic monkey climbing her arm. "Tryad, Combustion Whip! Let's go!"
Tryad whipped its tail around in a large arc, scorching five or six opponents in one fell swoop. Three of them returned to their feet, advancing along with another six. The focus was entirely on Tryad now, so Adrianne was free to command.
"Nice one! Now, use Air Strike! But use Maul when you reach the ground!" She yelled, adrenaline rushing through her veins. Oh, how she'd missed this. Tryad sprung into the air on his magnificent brown wings, dipping effortlessly in and out of the branches. The monkeys were looking up, transfixed, when he attacked.
Tryad dropped to the ground at an alarming rate, landing amidst the monkeys. Adrianne watched with pride as Tryad's strong jaws ripped the primates apart, his fearsome claws tearing through the tiny limbs. Occasionally he would let out a roar, which Adrianne put down to the Water Monkey that she could see amidst the others. Maul lasted less than 20 seconds, when Tryad looked up to Adrianne with achievement. The one monkey left, electricity crackling from its yellow fur, was stumbling weakly through the blood. Tryad looked ready to finish it off, but Adrianne held up a hand.
She pressed a button on her tamer band, which let out a small ball of nothingness. It swallowed the Thunder Monkey before returning to the band.
Adrianne shrugged. "You never know."
Adrianne walked over to the hamburger, trodden into the ground and drenched in blood. She nudged it with the toe of her boot, before turning to Tryad. The beast was panting, his fur clumped by the sticky red substance. Like Adrianne, he was covered in a completely indistinguishable mixture of enemy and his own blood. The ground was littered with monkey carcasses, swirls of blood mixing with the mud and leaves underfoot.
"C'mon, let's get out of here." She said, patting Tryad's head with gratitude. If that one raw steak attracted all of those monkeys, there was no telling what horrors would sniff out all of this blood. Returning Tryad to his pocket dimension, Adrianne tapped a button on her Tamer which transported her to Boston.
She really needed a shower.
Pokemon:
Spoiler:
Nickname: Nox Gender: Male Species: Luxray Appearance: Just your standard Luxray.
Personality: Nox is fierce and moody, as you come to expect from big cats. Always apprehensive of new people, Nox will not respond well to an unfamiliar hand trying to stroke his fur. His instinct is usually pretty spot on however, and how quickly he warms up to somebody is a good indicator to Esther of their personality. Easily aggravated like his owner, Nox's tail will flick jerkily if he's irritated. His deep-throated growls however, are kept to warn of circumstances of danger. Protective and loyal only to Esther, Nox does not even socialise well with the others in her party. It took Esther a long time to realise that Nox cannot be driven to do anything he's uncomfortable with, and that she might not be the most stubborn member of her team after all.
History: When Esther was still very young, her eldest brother had already begun travelling. It was the first Christmas since he'd gone abroad when he brought home a foreign little cat, a gift for his little sister that he'd managed to procure from a Safari Zone somewhere. All Esther remembers from that day is the tiny Shinx gnawing playfully at her fingers, as her parents argued over whether she was old enough to play with such a dangerous creature. Shinx grew alongside Esther, and looking back, there is no telling who influenced the personality of the other more.
Moveset: Electric Terrain, Thunder, Crunch, Fire Fang Other:
Nickname: Cora Gender: Female Species: Vaporeon Appearance: Just your standard Vaporeon
Personality: Cora is, for want of a better word, fun. Much to the irritation of Nox, Cora is full of energy and keen to meet new people. She often receives attention from nearby trainers and Pokefans, who will then mistake Esther as someone who likes to be approached. As a result, Esther doesn't like to walk with Cora without Nox nearby, as if to cancel out the chances of stranger interaction. However, in the comfort of her own company, Esther is very attached to Cora, and is secretly pleased to have her affection. Although not particularly fierce, Cora is loyal and courageous. Her bubbly personality is easily replaced by an icy determination, making her a companion Esther is proud of.
History: Relatively early in her travels, Esther found herself in Olivine City for a few nights. She had just finished a day of training in the lighthouse, and was grabbing a bite to eat before bed; she planned on challenging Leader Jasmine to a battle the next day. At this age Esther had developed a knack for picking a fight, and many of the sailors in the B&B she stayed in had come to revere her pluck and determination. Keen to keep up appearances, Esther had been digging at one of the burlier sailors for his choice of Pokemon. "I mean, it's hardly a Poliwrath", she remarked snidely, as the room erupted in raucous laughter. "What good can that thing do on the rigging of a ship?"
The sailor in question wiped tears of laughter from his eyes, shaking his head. This 12 year-old girl definitely had something about her. "You know, you're not wrong," the sailor said, with a mock sigh. "Will you do me a favour, and take 'er off my hands?"
The sailor handed a Pokeball to Esther, who looked up with reproach. "That's right, fawn it off on me," she said, to more guffaws. Nevertheless, she took the Pokeball from the sailor, trying not to look too pleased. "I don't know what I'd do with an Eevee though."
It took Esther several years to evolve Cora. Her team was strong but fluid, and she never really lacked in any particular type long enough to make a solid decision. It wasn't until she went back to Olivine a full 5 years later, proudly sporting badges from all regions, that she returned to her old B&B. The sailors she'd met were not around, and she hadn't expected them to be. Nonetheless, Esther was wistful as she released Cora from her Pokeball, in the room where they'd met so long ago. Out of her pocket, Esther pulled a small pouch. She tipped it up on the counter, and several glittering stones fell out. After staring at the stones for a full minute, Esther turned to Cora. "You decide, I'm not bothered."
Esther left the B&B the following day, her pocket a stone lighter, with Cora's shimmering blue coat glistening in the morning sun.
Moveset: Rainy Day, Surf, Ice Beam, Aqua Ring Other:
Nickname: Ardal Gender: Male Species: Alakazam Appearance: Just your standard Alakazam.
Personality: Ardal is stoic. He hasn't much to say on anything, and will often take a back seat and observe rather than get involved in a discussion. Like most psychic Pokemon, Ardal connects to his trainer with a psychic link. Although usually not one to intervene, Ardal has been known to use this link to calm Esther down in moments of high emotion, where he fears she may act irrationally. Whether Esther is aware of this is uncertain, but she wouldn't let on if she was. Although very much the strong and silent type, Ardal is the protector of the team. Not often overrun with emotion means that Ardal can step in and use his psychic ability to protect Esther and her Pokemon when they need it. His hyper-awareness, strong moral compass, and calming demeanour compliments Esther's rash, blind-sighted, selfish tendencies.
History: Four years ago, Esther was travelling through Kalos. So far, this region was her least favourite; people were roller-skating, for crying out loud. What was this, the nineties? In any case, travelling seemed to have lost its fun to Esther, and what she used to meet with enthusiasm, she now met with bitterness and pessimism. All she wanted to do was get back to Ecruteak, take a few weeks off from battling and decide what she wanted to do next. But, getting to Kalos had cost her a lot of money, and she wasn't ready to give up like that. All of this and more was going through Esther's head as she stomped down the dirt road of Route 5. Her eyes fixated steadily ahead, she didn't see the trainer roller-skating to her left, and didn't hear his exclamation to get out of the way before he rammed right into her, knocking her into a field of purple flowers. Yelling a bunch of colourful obscenities at the retreating trainer, Esther got to her feet, and took a step forward before tripping and immediately hitting the ground again. Angrily, Esther looked for the source of her fall, ready to take out her unnecessary anger on whatever dared cross her path. Her eyes traced the ground where she fell, landing on a small yellow Pokemon, that seemed to be arousing from sleep. Esther's anger turned to excitement as she fumbled for a ball; she'd never seen an Abra in the wild. But she was still flustered, and her hands couldn't find the ball quick enough. Meanwhile, the Abra was reaching consciousness, and seemed nervous of the encounter. As Esther finally closed her hand around an empty Quick Ball, she looked up to see – well, nothing. The Abra had disappeared into thin air. Kicking the ground angrily, Esther turned around to walk back up the path. As she did however, a big yellow something materialised in front of her. Without flinching, Esther threw the Quick Ball, grinning when it clicked shut. What sort of luck led the Abra to teleport right in front of her? In the confusion, Esther's pessimism and anger had ebbed away, and the freshly caught Abra bobbed calmly in the ball looped to her belt.
