Then i shall seize over that future

I should put it in my sig. Really confuse people 😁
I had a friend put something I said to her out of context in her sig once, and I don't think anyone ever called her out on it, which was funny. Go for it if you'd like!

Hi Ais... Setsuna! Cool new name :)
Is this one a better fit for you?
Possibly, I was toying with the idea of changing it for a while and saw people in some thread (DCC i think?) mention the idea of changing usernames. So I went hey, I'm known for it at this point, and the longer I wait the more awkward I think it could end up being. I'm still me, I just think Setsuna's a name I can use now that I've gotten more comfortable.~

Yeah if your gonna change it, best do it before you've had it 15+ years 😅

How are things with Queen Setsuna?

[PokeCommunity.com] Last One to Post Wins! v2

Yeah for sure, I was already thinking "well, I've been here for a few months, that's way too long" but then I realize some people have been here for... a long time...

Things are decent with me, over the weekend this one store near me has been hiring and I'm a regular there and friends with a bunch of people who go/have worked there, so I figured I'd apply, and it's a process I'm not very... used to? I sent in the application last night but had trouble sleeping and ended up staying up until almost 5am with my boyfriend.
Today though, a pretty big event dropped in the idol game I play and I've been excited for it and it helped me max out the stats on my favourite card, so I feel proud of the grind. Now I'm kinda just balanced between checking my email every so often for the job app, playing what I can in the current event, and I started playing Skyrim recently for the first time, so I may go back to that at some point today.
So I guess there's a little more going on in my life than there usually is?

How about you?

That sounds like an awesome job for you if you are already friendly with the people there. I will be keeping absolutely everything crossed for you!

I know you don't need me to tell you this, but please try not to worry about the email, it won't make it come any faster, and you will just stress yourself out more than you need to. Hopefully your games will take your mind off it for a while till you find out. 😊

I'm in a strange place tbh. I'm struggling with some stuff mentally and physically, which I won't bring everyone here down with. I always try my best to stay hopeful and positive, but lately I've been really struggling with that. The physical problems are out of my control and the only thing that might relieve them is even more scary. The mental issues are the same things I've dealt with for a long time, but lately I've been struggling to keep them from crippling me. I know everything I have to do, but sometimes the light seems so far away, and this just happens to be one of those times. But things will get better, it's always dark before the dawn! PC is doing a good job taking my mind of everything right now tbh :)

Thanks for the reminder, even still. I appreciate that a lot.

It's great you're still doing what you can and that you're still understanding that you're going through something, whatever it may be. I imagine everything can sorta end up getting to you after a while if it piles up, that's usually what it's like for me. But it's really good to keep in mind that you've gotten through everything in your life prior and that this is just another part of that. Just keep those things you have to do in the back of your head and remember that doing anything at all is more than enough. Take any and all time you need to relax or get your mind off things, and remember you're doing great. <3

In terms of PC taking your mind off stuff though, I'm sure we can have another kind of conversation if you're wanting to?

Thanks for the kind words Setsuna <3

I'm honestly fine talking about anything, I just try to stay positive here, because people have enough going on in their lives without me adding to it! 😊

What kind of event is this one? I think I remember you saying there was none as big as the last one for a little while?

Happy to give you them, just remember to take care. <3

The current event is kinda strange because I think it was supposed to be included in the anniversary events last month? There's a side event called SBL where you join a group of 10 people and play 3 songs, 3 times each, to reach goals together (like scoring enough points as a group, using enough skills as a group, etc.) and compete with others in awards (like scoring the most points out of the group, using the most skills out of the group, etc.) to gain medals which you can exchange for items. Currently, there's a special SBL happening where you can play 3 songs 5 times each, and the songs change every day, meaning you can get more awards and more medals than normal. It's like the mega SBL basically.
The rankings are less important, but it's still being seen as a pretty big event because of how much medals you can get and how quick the event will be over since you only have 1 day to play those 3 songs for the day before they change. SBL usually happens in-between events but this one is kinda seen as its own event entirely.

They're just public lobbies filled with whoever's playing at that time, but something I've started doing with my friends is joining the groups at the same time so we can get into the same room and play together. It's made SBL way more fun to play cause I get to compete with friends instead of just losing the awards to whales all the time. The groups are different for every play of the song and you have to re-enter one on every play, so sometimes not everyone will get in, but it's still a lot of fun doing it that way.

Thanks! It's definitely helped me get into playing games with other people, I've always been too shy to do so but idol games will usually only have little emotes of the characters you can send to people in lobbies, so it's helped me feel like I can connect with people by sending emotes of our favourite characters without having to really talk.

I'll be happy with anything I walk away from this SBL with, I just need to decide what to buy with my medals...

I decided to be a bit adventurous a couple weeks back and joined a lobby with a mic and headset. I don't think it's something I would do every day, but it was a fun new experience.
