Because Dutch ALWAYS has a plan!

I couldn't finish GTA5's offline part. I got bored at some point :(
I grew tired of having to cross the whole map while driving and trying to read the dialogues written in a 1-point font.

Grand Theft Auto as a series is simply too violet for me to play on my own, but I have no problem watching others play it.

I also dropped GTA San Andreas, not because I was bored, but because of a mission with a drone that I couldn't complete for the life of me. You had a tiny drone with weird controls, and you had to kill gang members in their cars. But the drone was super frail >_<
I liked the cheat codes. I liked being most wanted and trying to survive to the army coming for you :P

I didn't really use cheat codes much either. I did have some fun with my old Action Replay during my DS days though.
I loved moon jumping and running so fast that I'd clip through walls in Phantom Hourglass especially.
The only console games I remember doing button codes on were Sly 2, (for unique moves you could only get this way)
and the original Battlefront 2 (mostly the unlimited ammo code lol).

I personally like cheat codes to have fun, relax, try things I could never do without losing, or when I am not into the gameplay but want to follow the story, when a game is too slow for me (5 turns for this, 7 more turns for that, etc), ...

I prefer to keep challenge for playing online with other players!

I don't bother with cheat codes.

after finishing the story and having nothing left to do, I usually closed off a GTA game by stockpiling as much ammo as possible, though through normal means, and then just get max wanted level by attacking random people and see how long it takes for the army to end me.
I don't remember how long I'd last, but I'd eventually run out of ammo for most stuff =P

I closed off GTA 5 by taking a nice black car and following a personally planned path through most of the city's streets, which was too long for me to do in one go. Vroom vroom!
