Last One to Post Wins! v4

There is one class for us, which I don't like to attend, as ma'am makes me drowsy with her haphazard explanation. I need to drink water in a while to avoid the dizziness. Except her class, others are fine.


On other hand, I only like rainy season when I am inside home, but on downside, rainy season means increased humidity, which is disgusting for me. Apart from cool breeze while it is raining, there is not much appeal in the rainy season, according to me.

l guess rainy season is favorite season for mosquitoes as well 🤣
 
Depends on what job you get I guess.
I like my job a heck of a lot better than I did school =P
 
When I was going to university and the Covid pandemic hit, we all had to do our classes online via Zoom. I actually enjoyed that mostly. I could stay at home in my pyjamas, sign on to the class meeting at the meeting time, and sit in my comfy chair (sometimes with a Cat in my lap) whilst the class meeting occurred. It also helped that I don't have a webcam, so I could only type things in the chat, and didn't have to deal with keeping eye contact and looking like I was paying attention.

A couple times I did fall asleep, but that was more for the classes where we mainly just got a lecture and didn't have to actually participate. Good times.
 
As someone who's job went on uninterrupted during covid due to it being considered essential, I didn't really have anything like sitting at home doing stuff via video chat programs with colleagues.
All I had to do was keep my distance from people while working and that was it. Most days I don't come close to anyone anyway so there was little difference for me if any at all xD

The mix of school and the pandemic is an interesting one for me. Since classes became all online and attendance either became optional or against the rules things felt like they got a lot... maybe easier isn't the right word, but I had to think and care a lot less, I went from being unsure if I'd ever graduate to being told months early that I was finished my classes and didn't have to attend until our graduation ceremony. I had a lot of time and not a lot of confidence so I told myself I'd step back and not try to apply for something like university while it was online, because I was almost certain I'd waste money and time applying and wouldn't be able to keep up.

I don't like the idea of online classes, I worry I'd struggle with them a lot. The job I got during the pandemic and held throughout it was one where attendance was mandatory, I was required to be in the office on specific days but sorta decided my own hours, and I think it worked great for me. I think if the responsibility to show up when I'm supposed to is on me or self-paced or whatever, I'm not going to be able to do it properly. I like being held to a schedule, I feel like there's this weight to it. People will require me to be there and I'll break the rules if I'm not.
But some stuff's also happened where I have broken those rules so... really, what do I know.

Hope school's going great for those of you in it though. Keep your heads up.

My job doesn't have a fixed starting or end time as it depends on the load I get on any given day. Been having some trouble starting as early as I can like I used to lately, due to there not being any need to be as early as possible to finish on time atm.
Last week fit this but the three weeks before didn't. Then before that it fits for like a couple months. My work schedule has been all over the hecking place lately.
 
my job is fun because sometimes the receipt machine will spit out a clitchy mess of a receipt and i love glitchy stuff so much lol
 
I've heard customer service jobs can be some of the worst jobs you could get. I don't think I'll look at those as possible jobs.

I was in middle school (7th grade) when COVID hit, so I didn't really have to worry about graduating; but I definitely remember things getting a lot more lax. While online classes were technically held after Spring Break when we stopped going physically; in practice they just let us phone it in and the year de-facto ended 3 months early. Same thing for the first ~3/4 of my 8th grade year or so until I moved around the halfway point, and my new school made us start going 5 days a week again and properly reopened everything during the last quarter of the year, online classes were technically required but nobody did much work. I honestly think the whole experience set me up really poorly for the self-paced online courses I'd take later (they were ways to get credits my school didn't offer physically), since I got the mentality that online courses were a joke that I didn't need to take seriously; and I was in this self-destructive cycle with them where I'd blow the courses off until the last 1-2 months, where I'd then be insanely stressed and rapid-fire through everything to barely scrape a B. Admittedly part of that was my own laziness/fault, but COVID definitely didn't help things. It took until this current year where I was able to establish a somewhat healthy relationship with them, and lemme tell you, it feels really good opening up my courses and not seeing 40 missing assignments.
 
Even decent or fun jobs will have their lesser moments, unfortunately.

As a cashier it's not that bad, In fact, i've been able to make a lot of people smile and i love that <3
