    Around a year ago, I vanished off the face of PC. However, I missed you wonderful people too much (seriously, I talked to way too many people daily to just not be around anymore), so here I am. Let's catch back up, shall we?

    • My name is still Jake
    • This is me
    • I'm 21 years old
    • I go to RIT for Management
    • I work at a call center under an engineering company
    • I used to mod X/Y
    • General hobbies include running, skiing, playing guitar, Netflix binging, and (attempting) to hang out with friends

    So let's go from there and get reacquainted.

    After last summer, I started going back to school full time-time (took the spring semester off, plus had summer), and working full-time at the same time. Between those two things, I barely had time to get my homework done and sleep, let alone do anything social (whether it was real life or on here). After switching my major (and now schools) so many times, I needed to prioritize school and work (because how else am I paying to go there) before everything else. So I did what anyone would do, cut back here...

    ...However I'm an idiot. Instead, you know, telling people what was going on, I just...vanished. And I completely regret it. I cut ties with a lot of people that I really care about (like you) that I wish I didn't. And as things have settled down a bit, I realized that I wanted to apologize for doing that, and wanted to try and catch up with everyone. But seriously, I'm an idiot for doing that.

    As far as how long I plan to stick around, I couldn't tell you. I'm just planning on being around, talking to people, and posting when I feel like it. Even if I end up leaving again, I won't disappear from everywhere completely.

    Good news: I'm still working full-time and going back to school in the fall, but I've worked my schedule so I at least have weekends off to do things, both real-life and here.
     
    What did you enjoy about modding X & Y back in the day?

    I gotta admit your job is kinda interesting. Is there anything you like about working in a call center?

    Late reply is late.

    • I enjoyed the interaction with all the users. It was rewarding in it's own way, but it was something I couldn't maintain for long before needing to get away for awhile for personal reasons.
    • The only really interesting thing about my job is that I get to talk to people all over the world. In a single day I'll speak with people from the US, Germany, Taiwan, Singapore, and Korea, all in the span of 8 hours.
    • Troye Sivan is a cool YouTuber guy, so why not?

    If I had the time to I would consider it, I enjoyed it. However, that's definitely not in the cards right now =P I'd return to X/Y, or whatever anyone wanted to throw at me.
     
    How did Boston treat you while you were up here?

    Are you single? Because that would be a crying shame if you were considering how drop dead sexy you are (no homo.)

    What is your favorite song to play on the guitar/do you use those skills to get the ladies?

    You've traveled back in time to around the time you decided to disappear from PC. You meet your formal self; would you tell him to go through with his decision, or convince him to change his mind and to stay on PC? I guess a better way to ask this question would be do you think you are in a better off position by leaving PC, or do you think you could still be the same person you are today if you had stayed active?

    • Freaking. Loved. Every. Second. I would kill to live in Boston. It's an amazing city, and everywhere that we managed to explore was awesome. I wanna go back as soon as possible.
    • Not single at all (very homo)
    • There's an acoustic version of Free Fallin' that John Mayer does that sounds awesome, and it's fun to play. I'd use it to get the ladies, but again, much too homo for that.
    • I, without a doubt, 100% support the decision I made to leave PC. Something really needed to give, and PC just happened to be the link that had to go. I've figured out a lot with my life, and have work, school, and my personal life resolved again. It did suck that I just dropped off without saying anything, but that route worked for me at the time.

    Although I joke around a lot about things like that, I'm pretty self-conscious regarding appearance. I don't find myself unattractive, but I don't find myself particularly attractive either.
     
    You like running, so do you run for RIT? What would you say is the farthest distance you've ever fun before in one go?

    How are things going with your girlfriend/boyfriend? Does she go to RIT? If not, how do you cope with the distance between schools and withstanding the relationship?

    How do you manage working full time and going to school at the same time? I can't think that it's in the slightest a walk in the park.

    • I just run to stay in shape and get cardio in =P I enjoy it, but I'm no where near good enough to be on a team. Nor do I have the time for it sadly.
    • He's dandy. We both go to RIT, but we were apart all summer with him doing an internship. It sucked but we got through it, so I'm happy he's back!
    • I cry myself to sleep at night. But really, it's hard. Every break I have between classes or between class and work is devoted homework time, and whatever I can't finish there I do on the weekend. It's hard but manageable.

    • Assuming I can get off work, say someone, maybe named Connor, had an ideal time, I might be able to pop on over there again (but let's be honest, it's mostly for Cane's)

    • Set my alarm for 6:30. Hit snooze until 6:55. Rush into the shower for five minutes. Brush teeth, do hair, grab a cup of coffee to go and run out the door at 7:20 to get to class by 8.

    How's RIT? Do you enjoy going to school there? I was impressed by it at Imagine RIT last year, but it's also the only college campus I've been to.

    Do you enjoy being alive? DO YOU HEAR THE PEOPLE SING?

    Where'd you grow up? DID YOU HAVE A COOL CHILDHOOD?

    Do silly questions bother you? CAN WE LIVE SILLY LIVES SUCCESSFULLY? And do you like waffles?

    • New York is kind of an awful skiing area. We have a few local mountains to go to, but I'd rather drive to Vermont any day to go to Killington or Pico. We have Bristol Mountain and Holiday Valley around here that are fun, but it's boring. When I get lucky, I go with my dad and sister out to Colorado to visit family friends and go skiing at Breckenridge and Vale. I'd consider myself an advanced skiier I guess, I've been doing it since I was six.
    • Tom Petty is classic stuff. I'm not a giant fan or anything, but I always appreciate his stuff.

    • I love it here! It was one of the first campuses that I visited, and I just instantly fell in love. I'm upset I couldn't go to Imagine RIT; I volunteered to do one of the information boths outside, but I came down with a terrible case of strep throat and I had to bail. I got the free teeshirt out of it at least!
    • I love being alive. I'm doing what I like to do, and spending it with people I care about c:
    • I grew up in a suburb of Rochester. It was pretty boring honestly. Just a lot of upper middle class kids doing nothing that was very exciting.
    • Oh god no I can't dance, it's horrendous
    • Mildly entertaining at this point so no. Why wouldn't someone be able to be successful while be silly? Of course you can! Waffles are inferior to pancakes.
    • Meh I'm bored, is mildly entertaining lol.
    • JUNIOR YEAR IS REALLY ****ING IMPORTANT, GO TO CLASS AND DO YOUR WORK! But that should just be advice for school in general!
