Hello all, and this thread is about spicy food.

The question is very simple: do you like spicy food? If so, what kinds of spicy foods do you like, and what do you put on salads/tacos/sammiches and stuff to make it more spicy?

Right now I am having a sandwich slathered in delicious hot sauce and my lips are slightly numb and burning. It can never get too hot for me. :3

I really only like food that isnt too spicy. Some is ok and can be very tasty but not if its overwhelmingly spicy.

I love spicy food, especially pepper (black and red) and curry. I used to put pepper n most of my meals, but now I don't do it as much.

I like to put Sweet Thai chilli sauce in a lot of my salads but when it comes to a sandwich I throw in some Jalapenos to give it that nice hot taste.

Spicy food is awesome don't argue. The best thing for me is a stir-fry with some sweet chilli sauce mixed into it I guess, although a spicy curry will do just fine too!

Spicy food. Eugh. I don't enjoy spicy food at all, yet the rest of my family loves the stuff and so I'm given spicy food way more than I like. I don't mind a very very mild spice but anything more than that is just painful.
(Yet I love Nandos, which for those who don't know is a restaurant that serves spicy chicken.)
I like Green Thai Curry as well, and most Chinese food. But most of that is mild, I don't like spice in general and very rarely would choose to eat it.

I'd like to say yes, but what I consider spicy and what people with asbestos tongues consider spicy are two completely different things. I guess I like something with a bit of a 'kick' to it, but anything hotter than that is probably not for me, unfortunately.

    Of course I do =]

My favorite which would have to be Hot Wings, because they are so good and I love eating them

No offense people, but I despise spicy food. I can handle even the slightest bit of it. ¬ ¬ It's like, I don't want to eat something that instead of tasting the flavor, it have to endure pain instead. No thanks. xD I do wish though that I could handle the pain better and enjoy spicy foods, since they typically seem to be super popular around here. xD

I love a good, spicy curry. Curry is my favorite food in the world. Thai, Indian, and Japanese are my go-to styles so with some of them I have to do a little more to get them as spicy as I want. Like with Japanese curry: I'll get the "hot" which won't be all that spicy so I'll need to add some peppers to it to get the kick I like. And when I'm out at a restaurant I always ask for "spicy" or "very spicy" if they have that. It's usually not quite as spicy as I'd like, but still good.

I can't stand even a little spicyness in my food. >> My mom tricked me a couple days ago by putting some pepper in her peach cobbler. I wasn't happy when she told me.

I love spicy food. It's something I could never give up on eating/enjoying. Unless, I get heartburn's always. I like any kind of jalapeños and can usually handle the heat.

I like spice. Moderately. In moderation.

When the spice of the food overrides the tastes underneath it's just nasty. I don't want none of that. So I can stomach up to a milder Jalapeno pretty well if it's not overused in the dish...but I USUALLY prefer that what I eat not make me cry unless I want it to.

Sometimes yes, you do need something good and spicy to clear the sinuses out...it helps especially in allergy season. But I don't have a rubber tongue, so I actually like to taste the food WITH the spice.

Exactly this! Sometimes BBQ wings are too much for me! I don't mind something full of spices and flavour.. but once you add heat in the mix, it's unbearable!

I have more of a creamy, sweet palette. :3

I adore spicy food with all my heart and being. The spicier the better. I was pretty much raised eating everything with a little bit of spice - rice, spaghetti, chicken, whatever. We even make spicy cucumbers by mixing sliced cucumbers with hot sauce (it's a lot more delicious than it sounds). And when we have turkey dinners for Thanksgiving/Christmas, we put a hot pepper in our turkey and it even makes the stuffing spicy. :D

I freakin love spicy food. Hot salami is the best ingredient in my sandwiches. I don't really cook so I don't know of any spices that are notoriously spicy but I would use them if I did cook lolz.. I just usually put hot sauce on stuff and I like putting it in ketchup to give it a zing. Spicy ketchup fries are delicious.

I like spicy foods, but ones that are just in balance being sweet and spicy. Typically, that's in something like sauce so I eat sweet/spicy sauce with fried shrimp or chicken. Another thing I enjoy is spicy ramen (the cheap cup kind).

I like spicy food in moderation. I'm more of a medium spicy kind of person, I think. Not too hot where it's overbearing, but hot enough I can taste it. 8)

For about a year or so I was putting red pepper flakes on everything to give it a bit of a kick. These days I've toned down, but I always have it in my pasta sauce and pizza. It makes them extra delicious!
