Log Horizon 2 (MORE DATABASE!)

Cool, DEEN being DEEN before the series even started for real...

I just finished watching season one of the anime and I have to say I am extremely glad that I did, it was an amazingly addictive anime and after watching the first episode of season two I know I am not going to be disappointed by it.

For some reason when I was watching it I kept getting reminded of No game No life.

The change in studio wasn't that bad. I'm not really a STUDIO DEEN fan, but let's face the fact that satelight isn't that amazing anyway....
 
If anyone really needs a comparison on Marielle's art across Log Horizon works:

Let's face it: Despite whatever other people say, Studio DEEN's Marielle is much, much better than Honey Moon Logs'. ._.
And surprisingly her hair in S2 looks much more faithful to the Light Novel than in S1. :/

She seems to look more "Refined" and her ears become more noticeable, I think a lot of animes art styles become more cleaned up when they run into a second season nowadays.

Actually... NGNL should remind you of LH, not the other way around :D

Yup. I agree with you, characters look better. I just prefer the in-between animation that was being done by satelight.

In either case, the show is great, it's not like changing the animation studio can ruin it.

Well it depends in which order you watched the animes :X I saw NGNL before LH so it reminded me of it lol.

Same thing happened with Captain Earth and Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto.

I saw Captain Earth first and then Star Driver and they seemed to feel the same to me.
 
Meanwhile, I don't know whether to like Tetra or not. :v
 
I dunno about this season, honestly. I'm a bit bored with almost all their actions getting narrated; I liked the raid boss fight with the Phoenix-type thing, but I wanted to see more. It didn't really seem THAT interesting because I was never wondering "Will they make it through?" It just seems too easy. Yeah, we were told that sometimes these fights take a month+ but there was almost no tension. Also everyone is worrying over Shiroe all the time. Can't the kids in Akihabara worry about someone other than Shiroe? ;;

It's only just the beginning. Plus, Shiroe said they've only encountered 2 raid bosses so far, so there's still more to see. :v

As for everyone, they really have nothing else to worry about aside from Shiroe, since Shiroe hasn't mentioned about the problems facing Akibahara. And really, most of them don't know that the monthly cost for the Guild building is 10 M, which is one of the main problems in Akibahara as the money isn't easy to come by. Which is also the reason why Shiroe started the full raid. :/
