    Do you like to be the center of attention or do you prefer to stay out of the spotlight?

    Me, I tend to prefer to stay out of the spotlight. Whenever I do or say something that draws attention to myself, I immediately clam up and just stop talking. I'm really shy, so I don't like to have too many eyes on me. xD;
     
    I don't like being the center of attention, specially when with people I don't really know. If I'm with people I know I don't care too much.

    If I'm forced to be it, I'll manage it as I can, but it's not something I look for. I'm somewhat timid.
     
    I like to watch things from the sidelines. I tend to embarrass myself when I'm the center of attention.

    It's pretty much the same with me, however if the topic of conversation is something I'm comfortable with than I'm ok with it.
     
    Just so long as I am prepared I could careless whether I am or not. However, I prefer to be on the sidelines, because it saves energy.

    Saw that coming when I read this thread's title.

    I'm an introvert, I'm content to tackle life by observing rather than by talking; and will only talk to people much if it's just me and them, one to one. I usually prefer to go about my own lonesome business anyway though.

    I do have a preference for the sidelines with people I don't know, however, I'm comfortable with being the centre of attention in that situation. With people I do know, I'm equally happy to take either position, really.
     
    I don't prefer being in the center of attention, but I can cope with it just fine when I have to act in a play or sing or whatnot.

    That said, I also try to work behind the scenes sometimes and not get noticed.
     
    I absolutely despise being in any way the centre of attention, a lot of the people don't like and mock me whenever they can. With friends it's a different story, I'm comfortable with being either when I'm around them.
     
    I don't like being the center of attention, but I tend to attract unwanted attention without knowing. Like.. Falling asleep in class and then waking up, finding everyone looking at me. >_>;
     
    I don't like being the center of attention either in a good or bad way. I just don't like all that attention and like being the secluded person I am.
     
    I'm actually completely different IRL than I am here, well, to an extent. I HATE being the centre of attention and almost always stay back UNLESS I'm doing something I'm extremely confident in.

    Although I do act like the way I do here IRL if I know someone intimately. :3
     
    Well... I guess I'm in the middle really. I don't want to be stuck to the sidelines and not noticed. I don't want to be the guy screaming to just get someone's attention.

    I'm really in the middle. I don't embarrass myself as the center of attention, I can deal with it. However I just dislike if no one notices me. I'd rather walk down the hall with someone saying hi to me over nobody talking to me. So, I'm not all have to be the center, yet I'm not all oh don't know me, I don't exist.

    I hate being the center of attention, I would probably freeze or feel very uncomfortable and people notice it.. I just hate..

    But, like Beachy said, I also wouldn't want to be ignored, but that doesn't usually happen.. I'm fine with people I know ^^ and they better not ignore me :D
     
    I try to stay out of the spotlight, I'm very shy in personality...
    I just don't like being noticed much...being in the center of attention would make me uncomfortable.

    That's why I just stay out of everything 8D

    I usually just hang out and do stuff that doesn't attract to much attention.
