4th Gen Looker

[Hiatus]

In Pokémon Platinum version, GameFreak had introduced a new character to us with the name of Looker.

Looker is an international police officer who travels one to region from another in search of criminal activities. In Diamond and Pearl, we don't have him, but in Platinum, however, we do (as already stated), and if I'm not mistaken, he plays a pretty major role in terms of story-line. He also makes appearance in HeartGold and SoulSilver later throughout.

All-in-all, how do we feel on this particular character—do we like, dislike, or are we neutral? If we don't like him very much, what would be our reason, and what kind of changes would we make to Looker to have himself lay off a better image?

I have only met him in White, Y and AlphaSapphire(no spoilers tho). He has to be my favorite minor characteof all time.~
I wish I had Platinum, but my mom got diamond for my birthday so I can't complain. Waiting for SS from the mail, when does Looker appear there?! :D

Looker... Looker is amazing. I obviously love Looker because he's very witty and in a way mysterious especially with his whole amnesia thing in ORAS. I was glad to see he got a major part... in the after-game in X and Y although I feel like he should have been utilized in the main story someway.

I like Looker, Hes the only real connection the player has to the government and authorities in the Pokemon world, but even so we know little about him and his organization. (or the way the Pokemon world is governed, for all we know it could be a Dictatorship).

While he had a fitting theme to him, I found him to have rather minimal presence for a majority of the game until the big event in the post-game at Stark Mountain. Kinda sad that I found him to actually do more in BW than he did in Platinum.

I don't know why, but I've always felt Looker was kind of annoying in Platinum. He plays a rather unimportant role for most of the game, and by the time you get far enough, I was already sick of him just sort showing up when I was ready to move on to the next place.

The fact they keep bringing him back just annoys me further. Let's hope he stays in Hoenn, because I'd rather not see him again.

For the people who've watched or know about Doctor Who, don't you feel like Looker is essentially the tenth doctor or David Tennant? I saw a post about it once saying how they had the same design, personality and quirkiness about them. Looker also uses a code name instead of his real one, just like the Doctor. It was pretty mindblowing stuff, haha.

That being said, I loved Looker. I enjoyed his personality and while he honestly didn't do much, I'll always remember how he disguised himself as a rock in Stark Mountain. Colour me impressed, its hard to be a rock.

I only met him in Gen V and he wasn't the most interesting character. I don't think I even finished finding all Team Plasma's leaders. Oh well haha.

Yeah I know he was in some of the later games, but I only really paid attention to him in Platinum. Looker is a cool guy with an interesting background though. 8)
