Loop-de-loop and pull

    This has nothing to do with shoes. Sorry for those who have a shoe fetish.

    So, yesterday, I found out that one of my friends got asked out. I knew her pretty well, we were in a play together, and it really shocked me because everyone seemed to know that the guy who asked her out was going to ask her out. I had absolutely no clue that this guy, who is more or less my friend, liked her, so I was completely shocked while everyone else was well prepared for it.

    So, how out-of-the-loop are you? Are you usually the last to find out about stuff amongst your friend? I know I am...
     
    I'm usually first. I give a lot of good advice that I can't seem to
    follow myself. But, because of this, people are always texting me so I tend to learn about events before everyone else. Also, I seem to always be there when something like that happens.
     
    I really can't tell you anything on my friends except what I see on Facebook and stuff so I' can be pretty out of the loop sometimes.
     
    I'm pretty out of the loop..well offline anyways. I don't really get caught up in gossip or rumors so I tend to be pretty late on things if they actually happen which I am ok with.
     
    I'm in the loop where it matters and that's all I care about. When I was in high school I was in every loop imaginable because information was great. It was to high school what cigarettes are to prison. I could use dirt on people to get out of a sticky situation or sway things my way. Nowadays I don't really need to do that so I just keep tabs on my friends. As far as I know I'm still the first to find out.
     
    Among friends? Depends on who it involves.
    Among family? Haha no. Nobody cares enough about my close family to tell us about anything.
     
    When it comes to friends I'm not usually the first to know, but my friends always tell me what's going on.

    When it comes to family, I'm always the last to know. This is true, because they always tell the biggest news on Facebook and I'm almost never on, so I don't find it fair that my family (my cousins, my aunts/uncles, grandma, etc) always tell the juiciest stuff and when my mom tells me said "news" I'm all like "I didn't know this was happening." and she's like "Oh that happened 2 weeks ago did you get on facebook when it was posted??"

    Facebook is another reason that I am really out of the know. I don't have one because I have never been a huge fan of social media sites and as soon as something happens...it goes on Facebook book before I find out.
     
    Within my circle of friends I tend to be the one people come to abut their problems so as a general rule I'm pretty in the loop when it comes to major things going on in their lives. This being said I'm often out of the loop when it comes to the most minor things. It's kind of an odd combination.

    Outside of my social circle I'm no more or less in the loop than anyone else. I hear what everyone else hears and make my inferences from that.
     
    Well all my friends are in their own separate groups of friends and I never really hang out and combine all of them. So I end up finding out things from each group and I think I'm pretty informed and "in the loop" because everyone knows I really don't care and I'll never say anything. Really all there is to ever be told is the new drug everyone from highschool is on now. Which is cocaine if you're interested yayaya
