speaking of people.... i'm currently drawing a monkey for buttermilk's world... that's as close to a person as i'm ever gonna get 😅... but i think i'll keep the details of that to myself for now....
but i'll put them in my notes :>

But you've drawn yourself as a human and you've drawn Heart as well, both of which are people. :p So it's not impossible for you to draw them in a way that looks nice if you decided to add them.

Maybe you can find other bases for human characters in a similar are style and use that as a starting point?

And I know. :p But you do have other comics you want to make that do have some in them, right? And I was mostly just pointing out that you did draw a few human characters at some point, so it wouldn't be impossible for you to add them if you actually wanted to, not that you do of course.

You could always make a shorter side comic with the younger Buttermilk maybe going to a cave to explore or something so you can still do stuff with her, while you also practice drawing her older self doing various things (like just watering some plants, or having a picnic) to practice her artstyle and also give you some cute non-comic images of her.

I actually didn't! My focus was taken first by how nice older Buttermilk's fur looks, then on wondering if you're planning to color in those potted flowers and what color you'd make them hahaha. 😅

I'm sure there is, especially when the world has magic. But I also don't see why someone couldn't just 'change' regular ground into that material with that magic if you wanted them to.

i still have to work on it a bit more :o

maple: which comes from the English word for the maple tree.

abbott: from the Old English "abbod" (abbot, priest), given to someone working in a priest's house.


i did her sandels just a little bit ago.. & her feet..... & i'm not sure how i feel about them... even though i copied lina's feet, i think this proves that i really am bad at feet ... do they look alright? __ __

there's ''possible evidence'' that there might be old ruins of a old town in the country not yet seen & not yet named :o

& i extended the forest ...

& certain stuff :>

Yeah it needs more work, but you're getting there. That's the important thing! And I really like that you use real life objects as inspiration for things in your comic, it's a nice touch!

I would imagine it would affect it however you wanted it to, it's your universe you're making after all, soif you want it to work fine with no issues, then it does! If you want it to not work without risks, then it does haha. :p

Her feet are decent, though she's missing a toe on her right foot haha. It's something to practice on if you really want to draw them well, but you can always make characters wear shoes that cover the toes if you'd rather not bother with it.

It's a very well detailed list! And a mysterious old ruins sounds like a really cool idea for a location in her world. I'm curious to see what you end up doing with it!


Also I'm sorry my response took so long. I've gotten a lot busier lately and have been finding it hard to have time even for casual chats on the forum... But I'm still here! :p

Yeah, she's kinda limited on what she can actually use to cast it haha, but it really works well for her using her tail like that. And this is clearly a fanwork, but do be aware of exactly how much you're borrowing from the anime, at least in the event you ever want to actually make Buttermilk plushies and such, otherwise it shouldn't matter that much.

I really like the design of older Buttermilk, she just has so much 'life' in the way her art looks when she has more room for details since she's not as small. (and I LOVE her confused face hahaha XD)
