I have to agree with everyone and say faer's activity has reduced quite a bit and that does make them rather suspicious. Since this day is extended, let's see if they ever defend themselves. It's wise to use all the time we have to come to a right decision.

Interesting how you jump over me, after I voted on you on the last day. Thing is, if you think that I'm suspicious just because, I never "defended myself" I think it's not strong enough. I never "defended" myself because.

It's really hard to quote anything interesting from you. You know why? Because you hardly ever write something interesting. WHAT you write is all fair and true (I found it too obvious that the doc managed to get a good guess to be worth mentioning...), but it's usually a state some facts or a hint at some vague inconsistencies instead of explaining your reasons before you vote and actually giving people a chance to discuss and question you.
I do excuse your early votes for time zone reasons - australian is really not the best one for an american GMed game - but I get the impression you have been trying to keep a low profile and be dodgy and stop discussions.

I agree with this. The sheriff is a high priority target for the mafia and exposing to be the sheriff without being able to give some usefable info tends to be a bad move. (Though the WIFOM (Wine In Front of Me) situation might cause another deathless night if we're lucky)

I don't really agree. I'm not sure who you are thinking of, but of the current player list the imo most inactive is Aiden, who is officialy confirmed inno, Bobandbill and Steel Master did not post too much and to a varrying degree and you yourself don't stand out with contributing a lot of words to actually finding out who's inno and who's not. But that's not a good indicator unless you know the general play style of the person.

...I'm not sure as to should I believe it or not. It's especially not too smart. I mean, we did know Aiden and Sun are innos, so making up that Universe is inno too, isn't too hard. It would also been strange if you hadn't inspected Universe since you insisted on him being mafia "yesterday". These infos don't help us a lot, but you are making yourself a target for the mafia.
So far there hasn't been a counterclaim, but several people didn't have a chance of reacting to your post yet. Or maybe the real sheriff doesn't have valuable infos yet and doesn't want to react on this obvious hook to lure him out? So perhaps you just wanted to stop others from following bobandbill and voting for you?
So why did you decide to come forward with this? Couldnt you stand the pressure? Or did you sniff a good chance to get the real Cop to reveal?

A laugh to conclude! Though I do admit I did not post a lot lately/today, you must have bad eyes or something if you managed to miss my posts throughout the game.
My reduced participation is mostly due to RL. This game coincidentally started on a friday, which is my free day and now it's the new week, which is usually the busiest time (mon-wed) for me.

Clearly this was not your smartest post. I hope in the meantime you did remember the deputy used his action already to kill Sun. It is somehow noteworthy that though you have been pretty analytical throughout the game, now you insist on the sheriff to out himself without knowing whether he actually has something and the mafia, of which in fact two still remain, one normal+one hooker, is trying to keep a low profile, something clearly not fitting to yourself.

It is not strong enough, true. However defences (or lack thereof) is usually the most telling thing. So you giving us no defence speech makes it harder to actually get an idea of your alignment, which is a bit dodgy. I do agree that beeing hard to read is not suspicious in and of itself, but ...well, you can never be sure of someone like that...

considering Gobln has been insisting on my lynching for a while [x] [x] then suddenly turns and says i'm actually innocent is an indicator of inspection happening.

(also do mafia know who each other are? is it just like a standard game?)

I save my interesting stuff for fics. ;p I just don't see much reason to post more than I have, but then the mafia games I've been in an age before had some role-playing involved with posts too. And hey, low profiles aren't a bad idea given I can be targetted both from voting or mafia (or deputy sheriffs). ;p (And yeah, time zones suck.)

That said, not changing my vote from Gobln at the moment. I'm also not convinced by the Sheriff claim, seems like not much useful info to risk going into the open like that... and then Gobln ignores any accusations.

That's a point I've been considering but nobody has counterclaimed Sheriff yet. I'll give it a couple more hours.

I think a coin toss will decide who gets lynched in the case of a tie.

I don't mean to offend you or anything but coming out as Sheriff with so little to share was not the best play. Honestly, take it as compliment when I say you're too good to risk it if you really were the Sheriff.

Then again, that's why this is a beginner's game >~<

I disagree with lynching bobnbill tonight, I think that's a bad call what with KetsuekiR's misplay yesterday and wiping it off with "I was wrong" Yes you were wrong and you were adamant about someone who was hardly a guaranteed mafia in the first place. My vote remains as is.

We need a way that we can confirm Goblin maybe we should if there is a counter claim. Can he reveal his checks?

I think Universe had a spectacular case of lag creating duplicate posts (either with their internet or pc server lag). That's why all the posts are around the same time.

And cool, thought it'd be rng.
 
I think he did. PC has been suffering from some spots of lag recently, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was an extreme case. Seems to have cleared up a lot for me though now.
And no, Gobln can't reveal his checks without GM permission. PM sharing is a big nono.
