    This thread hasn't had a reponse for 2 months, so I'm restarting it.

    Do you have a particular liking when it comes to genders?

    Like only wanting to catch Pokemon if they are a certain gender? i.e. female Lopunny, male Machamp and so on.

    I'm a girl, and I sometimes dislike Female Pokes. Sometimes, if they are feminine enough, I'll take a girl.

    Male Unfezant, female doesn't appeal to me that much. Some pokemon, Xatu for instance are to manly to me :/

    Nope, always a girl.

    Mostly males, but I do have a few females.

    No. And female Machamps don't bother me one bit.

    On White, I'm playing as a guy because I'm doing a challenge.

    Not really. I just use whatever pokemon has the best IVs- gender is never a concern unless I specifically plan to use Attract. Even then, I'd use either one.

    No I dont, but some pokemon I like a certian gender eg: Masculine pokemon I like as Male and Feminine pokemon female.

    No. I am a girl and that who I am.

    Atm its mostly Female but most of the time is half half.

    I try to only catch pokémon that I think look like their genders, if you know what I mean lol :)

    Only when I had to, before you could choose the girl :) Although I have to say if I ever get HG/SS I'll most likely pick Gold, I just love him :D

    Not really, again it majorly depends on the game and subsequently what team I end up getting :) I never deliberately set out for a femme fatale team or mixed, or all guys lol :)

    I don't really care about it. I actually have a female Golem and Machamp in SoulSilver.

    Well, I mainly tend to go for all-female but in my re-run of Pearl my current team is half-male, half-female (the males in that team are all starters anyway). It usually depends on what Pokemon I'm building my team around.

    When it comes to certain Pokemon, yes. There are certain Pokemon that I feel should be one gender or the other, and the cat Pokemon on my team must always be female.

    Not sometimes. ALL of the time. I never liked the male protagonists designs (a monocle, top hat, and tuxedo would really help them out). Leaf is the most awesome protagonist ever and even in games where I don't care for the female's design (B/W for instance) the guy is usually even worse.

    Not really. Usually it's 3 male, 3 female, or two of one gender, three of the other, and a non-gendered sixth Pokemon.

    Yes and no. I mean, there's a few I perfer male like:

    Vanilluxe
    Spirtomb
    Chandelure
    Emboar

    everyone else I prefer female.

    In Platinum I am. I named myself Silver and my rival Shadow XD. If i were the girl character and my rival was a girl, Id make me want to reset the game just to name my character Giratina and my rival Hydreigon.

    Both my Black team and my Platinum team are all female (including my Machoke)

    Not really, though I prefer having Pokémon I consider feminine (Lopunny, Delcatty, etc.) to be female, and vice versa.

    I always play as the female. Once I tried to play as the male and it felt weird, so I switched back. :P

    Usually it's mixed, but if one gender's dominant it's usually male.

    I always catch Wooper as a guy because I don't like it's female form.

    Always. I like the guy MCs better than the female.

    My team has mixed genders. Whatever the first gender of it is to appear in the while, that's the one I catch.

    There are no Pokemon that I see as any particular gender, really (aside from those that are specific genders) so I'm not like that.

    No. Although I was tempted to play as Ethan instead of Lyra, because I really like Ethan.

    My team is dominant with females.Probably not a surprise given the rest of my answers. lol

    Yessss... and no. Sometimes I prefer for a Pokemon to be male or I prefer for a Pokemon to be female, but when I want to make my team even (3 males and 3 females, usually), I'll switch things up and catch a male/female Pokemon that I previously saw as feminine/masculine. Like when I intentionally revived a female Lileep in Sapphire to make my team even gendered.

I have once in HeartGold because of my love for Gold/Ethan's design, and I'm currently playing as him in HG. :> The only reason why I haven't chosen the male character in other Pokemon games, is because their designs never interest me. I plan on using the male character sometime whenever I get Black. <3

    The closest I've ever gotten to having a team of only one gender was in LeafGreen when my only female was a Wigglytuff. But I quickly grew to hate that team and the lack of females, so I deleted it. For some reason, I can never have more females than males, but I can have more males than females. NO I am NOT sexist, and if I was, then it'd be the other way around. I don't know why, but it just wouldn't feel right if I had 5 females and 1 male, or 4 females and 2 males. =/

    I only like female unfezants, the male ones are weird.

    Yes, I have so far played as May and Dawn (only after completing the game as a boy though)

    4 of mine are male. My Vanilluxe and Krookodile are female
     
    I nearly always have a dominant gender in my team. If I'm a male player (90+% of the time) I'll have an all-male team (although exceptions could be made for tactics like Ash's Snivy with Attract), if I'm a female player, I'll have an all-female team, although I may lose patience and have a male starter.
     
    I always choose the boy character.. Cause, you know.. Im a guy XD. I think it would be weird for me to choose a girl character. Plus, in the games you get to fight your girl rival (Usually) and so.. Id rather see them from the front (Especially Dawn and May <3) <333.

    As for Pokemon, oddly enough almost all of my teams turn out to be half male half female, without me even trying. Except for my current Platinum playthrough, in which theres 5 girls and one guy (Can anyone say harem? :P) o.o. I dont really care what gender dey r, as long as I like em. >_>
     
    Only really with choosing the protagonist (I go for the male character because I am also male and...yeah) and in specific cases e.g. female combee so I can actually evolve it or maybe for breding moves onto Pokemon. Otherwise I don't mind what their gender is really.

    I'm very strict when it comes to the looks of Pokemon. For example, I stick with a female Oddish because of a feminine looking Pokemon which is the evolve form of Gloom using a Sun Stone named Bellossom.

    The versions I play as a female character are Ruby, Leaf Green, Soul Silver and White.

    Depends on what game I'm playing. Sometimes mostly male, sometimes mostly female. Sometime 50/50. Sometimes two male, two female and two genderless.
