Like last time, the small trees that are connected have a tile error. Apart from that this map is good. Good paths that aren't not needed and no empty space. Also its not too cramped.

7/10!

Reason: I pretty much like the map. You've done a great job placing the trees and houses etc. The mountain tiles are used well. But I don't like the big building on the top left. It spoils the map.

Thanks for your suggtesions and in the future ill place my mountins better. And no more blue pallete

The trees and all that stuff is used pretty well. I too do not like the building on the left. And i dont like the river either. Theres a huge body of water below it and it seems weird that something that close wouldnt run into it. And try to make the mountains a bit weird. Like I know what your doing with it but try to make like a little useless cliff here or there.

I think the stalls shouldn't be on the path. Put them above the path. A tree above the top stall is sticking out from the normal layer and last the small trees near the yellow building has a tile error.

Wow you seem to have a knack for map making. But you still can improve a bit.
1. The tiles dont really match what your going for, with something that size go with like a grass or sand path. Unless you make it clear that its a city.
2. I dont really like the little green thingys. I know thats the whole pourpose of this map, but it just doesnt look right.
3. And the right side has nothing blocking you from leaving the map, unless thats another way to leave.

sorry, but i can't rate maps at the moment mainly because i have my own maps to be rated.
here are two forest maps i finished*.

* i'm not used to these tilesets so i may not be better.

Credits to ryousha for the tiles and palettes and to wind~ for the rom base. Please tell me if there are any more people that want credits for it.

And i'll get the other map soon.

And i know about the huge pond, i just thought that part was too empty.

This is a map for mine and AndyP159's sophomore hack, Lance Adventures (you may have seen the thread around here somewhere).

The player (Lance) comes from the cave at the north end of the map, and works their way downwards to the next route. Along the way they must travel through an interconnecting forest.

That my Block Editted ROM base? :) Looks like it.

Anyways, I still don't like tall grass in towns, and in unreachable places. But I like the depth and shape of the map, 9.2/10

Reason: You should think about placing the mountain tiles pretty better because it's placed in a somewhat wrong way. But I like the idea though. The rest of the map looks pretty cool though.
Suggestions: Place the mountain tiles properly.
