Post count is important to some people ,it can be a personal goal to some people to get a certain number of post by a certain time. I've been trying to keep my Posts Per Day around 4.something lately. I see it as a good amount and I have goal to get 2000 hopefully by my birthday. Though the amount I post a day fluctuates. In general, I just like posting.
 
Post counts for me are to identify how active a person is on the forum. I also check the post per day. But since I love emblems, I'm also trying to get the 10k post emblem. It's gonna be a long while until I get that one *_*

You do post a lot in the other trivia section. Post count doesn't always tell the full story anyway.

You can also get the Post It! it if you post a ton in a short time, but I don't know if that's when you're new or if anyone could get it via that method. I know I'm never getting 10,000.
 
Elendil, if you're referring to the post of face swaps, it amused me several times. c:

Exactly. That was my point. Post counts are just bullcrap for me.

But anyways it's 12 and I'm heading to bed, but before I go I wanna ask.. do you guys tend to stay up late a lot? Hmm.. I know it's the weekend but I've been getting up super early lately.

Holy crap man, spoilers exist for a reason. Use them.

And I think I'm near 4,100. Pretty sure a fourth to a third is from DCC activity.

I'll admit, when I first joined, post counts meant a lot. I guess I figured it proved something, like I was a good member, or something. Don't think that way anymore. Like you guys have said, it's just a number. Still, I'll admit, every time I break a multiple if a thousand, I smile a little on the inside.
 
I usually stay up till midnight. 1am max on weekdays. On weekends... 3 am or so.
I love sleeping as well!

The only numbers that really matter in life are the physics fundamental constants. And pi, e and i. All the others are rubbish.

EDIT: Oh, almost forgot the golden ratio.

That's pretty much how I think about it. I hardly pay attention to my post count, except for when I'm nearing a nice, even number with a bunch of zeros at the end. When that happens I admire the view for a little bit, and then go on posting. xD
