Mega Audino

Mega Audino emits a soothing pulse from its body that reduces hostility in others. This powerful pulse calms any who come in range. Additionally, any creature that happens to come in contact with its second feelers will fall into a deep sleep.

When it Mega Evolves, this Pokémon gains the Fairy type. It has the Healer Ability regardless of what its Ability was prior to Mega Evolving. Its Defense and Sp. Defense are both improved, making it a good supporter in Double Battles and the like.

Thoughts on Mega Audino? Do you like it more or less than its non-mega forme? How do you feel about its design? Before it was announced, had you expected there would be a Mega Audino in ORAS? If so, is it anything like what you expected? Have you used it on your in-game team at all? Do you have any other thoughts to share?

The most underwhelming Mega Evolution, IMO. I get that it's cute and all, but its usefulness in battle is questionable since its regular form has a better ability in Regenerator and Healer is only useful in multi battles.

I like its design a lot but other than the mono attacking calm mind set id rather use regular audino because of the regenerator ability.Why give it a ability for doubles when doesn't have the offensive presence for that meta game

It's cute, design-wise! It's like a little doctor with a stethoscope. I remember when it was first revealed when OR/AS was announced, I was surprised to see it get a Mega, but also a bit disappointed that it seems to be built specifically for multi battles.

While Mega Audino may not be the best Mega competitively (thanks to what Platinum said earlier in that it seems like a doubles/triples specialist) but it's still good in terms of design, especially with that extra feeler and the white colour scheme showcasing its healing motif more, but at the same time it doesn't take too much from regular Audino's design and as you know I like Megas with simplicity to their designs.

Not exactly. The Mega slots usually go to harder hitters like Rayquaza, Mawile, and Salamence. Cresselia does support roles better, since it does so without taking up a Mega slot.

Well, as The Master of Audino, I really like this evolution. It shows how we all are just a Fairy inside.

As someone who likes to play the NU tier I can honestly say Mega Audino is incredibly difficult to knock out. Every time you see your opponent have this beast on their team you can expect to be in for a long battle.

Design wise this is probably one of my favourite Megas, I especially like how it looks like it has a stethoscope.

Mega Audino is one of the cutest megas, its desing fits very well to its healer ability.

I always thought Mega Audino was more suited to Pokemon Contests, like with Mega Altaria.
