I'm glad Sableye has gotten a Mega Evolution to balance out with its version-exclusive counterpart, Mawile. Now if only there was a Mega Machamp, who is considered a counterpart to Alakazam.
 
I want my Fairy/Ghost Mega Mismagius with Levitate Game Freak, make it happen.

And Golem who can be maybe be considered a counterpart to Gengar as they're both dual type three stage Pokemon that evolve by trading in the same generation.
Gallade needs one too since Gardevoir got one.

You know, I think that Shiny Mega Sableye may be green like Emerald's.
Perhaps Mega Sableye on it's back has some sapphires we can't see. In it's shiny form they can be diamonds.
 
What about more Mega puppies? There's Megas Houndoom and Manectric, so imagine if Arcanine, Granbull, Mightyena, Stoutland, Furfrou, and possibly Slurpuff got ones as well XD (Megas Arcanine and Mightyena would be pretty cool, y/y?) 'Course, then they'd need to give the cats some love as well, ahaha.

Mega Granbull could be Fairy/Dark. Mega Arcanine could have something like Moxie. Mega Mightyena would be awesome to see, maybe they'll give it Yvetal's signature ability like they gave Ninetails and Mega Charizard Y Drought.
 
Mega Sableye looks pretty cool, apart from the giant crystal. All they had to do was make it a little more menacing/sinister looking and it would be perfect. :/

I think Mega Camerupt & Mega Sharpedo (Not Walrein, makes more sense I think) are givens, for Archie and Maxie. And with Steven as Champion, maybe Mega Aggron again, or a Mega Metagross or Skarmory. o.o
 
Jeez, Game Freak only releases new information when I can't access a computer. D:

Mega Sableye looks great, I like how simple it is, and the crystal I'll probably warm up to eventually, haha. Only criticism is I wish they made his body a bit larger compared to his original form. The word 'Mega' tends to mean something that is "very large; huge", and they could've reflected that in his design.
 
I have to say, I was expecting a Mega Sableye and after seeing its pic on Serebii it didn't disappoint me. The big red jewel it carries makes me think it could have stats that lean majorly towards the defensive side. I wonder what ability it will have as well.
 
To be honest, I'm still not sure if I plan to pick these up. Mega Sceptile looks awesome and Mega Swampert looks cool enough. Though, I am kind of pissed that they made Mega Sceptile into a Grass/Dragon type. That's a typing I've been hoping they'd make for a while now, and I think its stupid to slap it on a Mega, at least as long as a "real" Pokémon doesn't have that typing yet. I'm also just really disappointed with the timing of these releases. If they were going to release Megas for Sceptile and Swampert anyway, why not release them along with Mega Blaziken. Or, if they needed them for promotion for the new games, why not withhold Mega Blaziken until OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire?

However, I'm kind of annoyed with Mega Sableye. It really looks no different than regular Sableye. I couldn't even tell that it was a Mega if not for the big ruby its carrying around.
 
I think it's a marketing strategy, honestly. If they released all the Mega evolution at once, it wouldn't really be a valid selling point for any of their future games, but because they didn't, they can release them in bits and pieces as they develop each game, and each time it increases hype and buzz about the game.

At first, I wasn't too sure they would even release new Mega evolutions other than the three featured in CoroCoro, but with the Mega Sableye announcement, I think it's quite likely there are a few more in tow, including Camerupt and Sharpedo. If Steven doesn't use Mega Aggron, I could see Mega Metagross existing to make up for it.
 
I'm very excited about Mega Sableye. He's never been one of my favourite pokemon but I'm looking forward to trying out the Mega and seeing how it goes.

Am I the only one sorta hoping for a Mega Delcatty? We have some bad@ss mega puppies, now we need a bad@ss mega kitty.

How about Mega Persian? Or Mega Liepard? Along with Mega Delcatty they can be the Mega Kitty trio!
Edit: Add in Mega Purrugly too and they'll be the Mega Kitty Quad!
 
I'm still guessing that MegaSableye's ability is wondergaurd. Sableye is a support mon , so taunt would shut it down. I mean, They are giving the strongest Pokemon competitively an Primal form, surely they'd be willing to give Mega Sableye Wondergaurd, since it's weak to fairy it can be killed. Tho I doubt it will be.
 
Though Wonder Guard is cool, I feel like it's better off belonging only to Shedinja. If Mega Sableye were to get Prankster, it could just Taunt opponents before they Taunt it, solving the problem of it being shut down.
 
The new Mega looks sleek, especially Swampy and Sableye. I have never been a huge fan of Sableye before but I knew before that it would be getting Mega evolutions (seeing as it was the version exclusive for RS before, paired with Mawile) as Mawile did get one. While Mawile get a huge boost in attack, Sableye obviously will be getting boosts in its defense department, as the jewel is said to grow until nothing can scratch it or whatnot. I'm getting excited to play with it, tbh.

and swampy, is just buff. So buff.
