That's not a bad base-off per se. I really hope Mega Shiftry would be a tad thinner and tad taller and have a slight ninja theme going on. x3

Honestly I wouldn't mind it if Mega Shiftry was similar in design to Tenguman, haha. Looks like a vastly improved version of the forest guardian, to be honest. Protean would be a viable option too, and probably give him a prominent niche in competitive battling, considering the usefulness of that ability.

What Mega evolution do you guys think they'll release next?

I would love to see Zangoose and Seviper get Mega forms. Seviper could sure use an extra boost in defenses (Special Defense at the very least, for Psychic types). And a good offensive secondary typing (like maybe Dragon). Zangoose could also use some bulk to enhance its longevity, as well as a speed boost. Giving it a Fighting could also make sense.

At the moment, I think they'll just release a few more teasers of Mega Sableye and Mega Diancie. Looks like its the coming of gem-based Megas~ ^^'

I can see Megas Camerupt and Sharpedo being revealed simultaneously. That, or they won't reveal any new Megas at all and just let us find the others for ourselves when the games are released and just reveal more info. on Megas Diancie on Sableye, namely their Abilities.

I hope that they do tell us their abilities. I would like Mega Camerupt and Mega Sharpedo to be the last Megas we're shown until after the games are released (like how XY had MegaManectric shown off in the Corocoro that came out after the games were out.) Since the games are coming out on the 21st (the non-Europe world) and 28th (Europe) they may have one last release before the games come out until their december issue.

I would say that's a solid bet, considering the trailers released at E3 show hints of Maxie and Archie having Mega evolutions on their team, with Maxie's glasses and Archie's necklace. Hopefully, July's CoroCoro delivers on that front. Possibly Metagross as well, mostly because they've featured Steven often and given him a nice amount of screen time. I think unless he uses Mega Aggron/Mega Charizard X is actually his newest team member, that'll happen.

Although team leaders in the past haven't really been smart enough to go for Pokemon that give them the best chance of winning (or at least having a full party?), I guess it would make some sense for them to use Mega Pokemon.

I don't think we'll be seeing more than two Megas being revealed at the same time for awhile now. I think they should just have two. Then they can save Metagross and Milotic Megas for August, September, October, or November (since Corocoro will release one week before ORAS come out).

Probably would be better for Game Freak to spread them out than just release them all at once haha. It's so difficult to decide especially because there's so many Hoenn Mega evolutions that I like, gah. I might have to buy both OR and AS so I can compensate. ;__; Which one do you guys plan on using, at least from what's been revealed so far?

We have yet to get confirmation on any exclusive Mega evolutions...did we get any mentioned in CoroCoro before XY came out (besides Charizard and Mewtwo's two Megas each)?

I plan to use Mega Sableye. Also Mega Sceptile, and Mega Swampert (and use Mega Blaziken again).

I'm pretty sure they will release Mega Camerupt and Mega Sharpedo early on if not the next one to be released. It is sensible considering they are the team leader's ace Pokemon.

They didn't release Lysander's Mega (Mega Gyarados) pre-release so it's possible they'll do the same thing with those two. Maybe GF thinks we haven't noticed and wants their (Maxie and Archie's) Megas to be a surprise.

This PRIMAL stuff is specific to Groudon and Kyogre, and we will never see its like again.

I would also have to disagree. I think all legendaries would get this unless they are man made such as Mewtwo.

Mewtwo was human created so it was not around back at the start. Although It could be argued that Genesect would get primal because he is a pokemon made by humans, but he was originally found as a fossil.

Maybe they'll give Jiranchi a Mega. The cute little thing hasn't had a strong connection to the Hoenn region deslite being in the dex. They could have it as an in game event and have it holding it's Mega stone when we battle it.

We really don't have enough information to determine whether or not other Pokemon, let alone legendaries, will receive Primal forms. After reading the folk legend of Primal Kyogre and Groudon from the Official ORAS page, it sounds like they're going to be exclusive to the Hoenn mascots. That's not all, though. There are some interesting questions posed right under the screenshots:

What kind of power lies in this newly revealed transformation known as Primal Reversion? And what is the connection between Primal Reversion and Mega Evolution?

What do you guys think about the connection between Primal Reversion and Mega evolution?

Oh they know. Just like they knew we discovered that they re added secret basses so they hid them.
The Megas will be released In due time.

Maybe it works the same way--you need a special item and a stone in order to use Primal Reversion; however, as its name suggests, it devolves the Pokemon rather than evolves it. I can see Groudon and Kyogre (and Rayquaza) being godlike beings (well, stronger than Arceus in terms of BST, much like Mega Mewtwo X/Y) back in ancient times, only for their power to have gradually declined, making them as they are now. Primal Reversion reverts them to their more powerful states, making it similar to Mega Evolution, which evolves Pokemon into stronger beings.

It'll be funny if Archie and Maxie's mega items were for Primal reversion instead of getting real Megas of their own...

I still can't think of what ability will fit Camerupt other than those it already has... Drought? Sand Stream?

Archie and Maxie never use the pokemon in battle. So I doubt this is the case.

Also, Camerupt could get a totally new ability. But my guess it would be something to do with his valcano. Erupt or something that makes his fire moves do more damage every time he is hit with a physical attack. Similar to how Camerupt got mad when he got hit in the face in the anime.

I think it just works the same way as Mega Evolution. I don't think there is a big difference between them. Just a way to make people look forward to it only to be the same thing or very similar to Mega Evolution.
