I can't believe the people in MMPPP can't tell the difference between mermaid and human Rina.

That is how it works with all magical girls, XD. The transformation puts some sort of spell on everyone watching, messing with the part of the brain that allows one to recognize someone/thing as familiar to them. =P
 
I see. That makes sense. And...why is Luchia the only one with such a different human form? For me, Hanon's is about the right amount of transformation...the others are not enough...especially Rina. But Karen's and Noelle's are okay.

Wow, I like it! But I think I'll always prefer the japanese one. XD I'm just too used to it.
 
EmeraldSky, that is awesome! I had the actual music playing in the background, and it fit perfectly. :D

As for Lucia's appearance, yes, I have often wondered why her mermaid and human forms were so different from one another when compared to Rina and Hanon. My conclusion was that it was the PokeGods and/or Aqua Regina at work, trying to make Kaito's realization ever so difficult. XD
 
XD Interesting topic. And nope, I don't think mermaids get pimples, for basically the same reason as above. Furthermore, I think they are less prone to illness than the rest of us, which is kind of a plot point in an MM RPG I'm currently in. ^_^

I do like both videos, Anime/Mangalover247! I always like to hunt for Kaito x Lucia videos on YouTube, like the one in my profile right now. They weren't at first, but now they've become one of my favourite pairings in the Anime-verse. And I love their fights. :D

Mine would have to be Lanhua. Her disguises in the human world were usually pretty cute and/or funny, and her character design was one of the best I've seen. And of course those chibis always cracked me up.

1) Don't mermaids have to go to the bathroom?

2) Do mermaids lay eggs?

3) Do mermaids live on seaweed?

4) If so, then how do they adapt so fast to the human world and start eating melon pudding?

5) Do mermaids go to school?

6) Where are Luchia's parents?

7) How can Hippo breathe underwater if he's a penguin?

Hehe, quite a bit of questions. I'll take a shot at them:

1) Everything alive does, XD. So I assume so. =P
2) Not too sure on this one. Humans give live birth, and fish lay eggs. Mermaids...I dunno. XD
3) I doubt that's all they eat.
4) LOL That was an interesting image. And well, if that was the case, wouldn't you like to try different foods in a foreign environment? =P
5) I think they do. Otherwise they'd just be a bunch of airheads, and end up floating to the surface.
6) Somewhere in the North Pacific Palace, I guess.
7) He has gills?

2) There are no male mermaids, so yeah...
3) What else can they eat under the sea?
4) A fish can't eat pizza, can it?
5) How do they write?
6) So Luchia never misses her parents...

I created all my "English" versions by looking at the rough translations, then tried to write English words that had the same idea as the rough translations, and still matched the rhythms of the Japanese words to some degree.

Takes a lot of listening, starting, stopping, and rewinding the music, but it's worth it.
